I really don't like this audition system. ever heard about sex live chat? it's really similar to that...
if the money wasn't involved it's fine I guess, as an alternative way to publicizing these new girls, but then I found out that the points are determined by those emoticons whatsoever that could be obtain by paying some price...

..or probably I'm just a bit exaggerating lol

 

Yeah I get where you are coming from but I think it's closer to something like Twitch where people can watch other people and have the option to donate. It's not like any of the girls were doing anything considered risque either.

 

yep, it's just me that narrow minded. I was hoping for more serious talent showcase though, a similar one to nogizaka's 46 hour broadcast....

I think the purpose of this method was to bring fans before the winners are announced. My suspiction is that all the girls will make it.

But I really want to know how this kanji vs kana is going to work.
If it's like Nogi's unders, I can already see Neru getting her center in kana and being senbatsu for the 3rd single.

 

It'd be interesting if Kana Keyaki released singles as a group separated from Keyakizaka46. Then, once a year or so, they could release a single with a Kanji Keyaki and Hiragana Keyaki senbatsu to hit the million (in a future). But it's clearly stated that Hiragana Keyaki is Keyaki's under group... But it's weird that they give those unders a number for themselves... So it's all a mystery.

 

So like the "cool group" and the "cute group"? I really have no idea how they're going to work this. I was expecting Neru to shift to the main group when the new "under" group gets its members, but your suggestion is intriguing.

 

What bothers me is the whole "Kanakeyaki will hold their own auditions".

Like... it will only make sense to me if Kanakeyaki is used as some sort of KKS system in Keyakizaka and it's the only way for girls to get into the group.
Nobody would audition for a lesser version of the main group when they could audition for it separately.

 

I think it's more like AKB 1st gen - original Team A, 2nd gen - original TeamK

 

K46 will appear next Saturday on the TV program Music Fair, which is a long-running major show. They will perform with former 14-year-old idol (in 1982) Harada Tomoyo, who has been a well-known actress and singer ever since. They perform her first big hit, the theme song to the film Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo, in which she also starred. Post in news thread. There is now a TV ad with clips.

Techi and Neru are the inner members of the front, flanking Harada Tomoyo. Berika and Suzumoto are outside of them. Habu and Berisa are the ends of the front line. Screencaps:




It looks as if they also do Silent Majority on their own, with the normal formation.

Neru and Harada-san both come from Nagasaki, so that might have　affected Neru's prominence here. Because this is a one-time collaboration, this may just be a one-time front line. Or it may signal a change in Neru's status. I don't see any difference between her uniform and the others'.
