So the winner is based on votes? Tough luck against singers who're part of a loveteam tbh. I can't say about the boy groups because we had 4 boy group/singers where the votes will be splitted.

I hope they sing it live in ASAP. Most of the contestants have autotune in it while the Harmonization of Girl is much better when singing live.

Major awards are done by judges, Best song(judges), best live performance(judges), best MV(judges). actually best MV was based on votes before but they changed it last season. I don't know if they will change anything this season.

 

Damn winning this will be much better. They are great live performers!! How do the preliminaries work? only a handful goes to the finals??




Can we add these two girls 2 years from now for the 2nd/3rd gen?

I wonder how much they’re going to sell regular tickets once they have their own theater. :O

What stage are they going to perform anyway? I’ve seen them doing a part of the choreography from Party ga Hajimaruyo on one of their behind the scene clips (could just be random dancing though).
I’m assuming all 48 members will be there then. That’s amazing how they already have a seitansai stage even before a shonichi and their own theater

 

I presume it would be the same tracklist they usually cover, haha
the Ticket should be worth the price so there should be an announcement maybe?

Anyway, let me get this straight:
This contest is more for the composers, not the singers right? But the songs were sung by collaborations of different artists, and we should vote for this one because it's a collab between MNL48 and those two other girls? Is that correct? Did I miss anything?

Also, what are they competing for?

 

Yeah, it's a competition between composers and the top 5 winners will get a certain cash prize and other rewards. While their composed songs will get to be used on tv shows or streamed on the radio.

okay this is really cute song but the other song are just to powerful and not all filipino likes this "cutesy" genre of music. mostly pinoys likes ballad with the "Birit" in the end. the only thing we can contribute in this competition is about special awards like MOR 101.9 Choice Award etcs because AFAIK, the fans can vote for those special awards.

 

^The winner last season is Titibo-tibo w/c I can't consider a birit song nor ballad. About the fan voting thing, I still doubt it since someone like Maris or Janine will get that one.

Anyway last years voting scheme goes like this;
*TFC Choice- the voting is via website onemusicph.
*StarMusic Choice- the voting is via the voting coupon inside the CDs.
*MOR choice- the typical MOR voting scheme.

I actually want them to get the "Best Music Video" since as far as I can remember it's via judges scores. The MVs will be created by Schools that have Masscom or similar course offered.

 

Wow that song is really nice! I wish MNL48 can have original songs and something like this -- haha don't shoot me. Of course with jpop flavor

The rapping part makes me want ML48 to do High Tension!!!

 

I can imagine them doing their own unofficial version of this with maybe sheki and another member singing the solo parts of the two girls.

I just hope the school who will be assigned to make the MV for this take advantage of the 'pop-ness' of the song and go kawaii with it.

 

I'm not expecting a lot from them tbh but this song is cute af. I wonder, will there be an mv for this? I dont really know how himig handog works OTL

i hope there's good story line in the story featuring MNL48 girls and hoping for good MV for the in-charge college school/University school for the MV...
