[GENERAL] The MNL48 Thread

Advertising on social media (facebook/instagram) is cheaper and more cost effective than paying for a billboard. You can maximize your AD spend by choosing the audience that you target are inividuals with interest in what you are promoting. With a minimum per day AD spend of 100 pesos your ad maybe visible to up to 1000 or even more viewers a day. Where as a traditional billboard goes for a couple of thousands to hundreds of thousand of pesos for at the minimum of 2 months. More people will definitely see the billboard but you are not guaranteed that they are the right audience for it. As compared to social media advertising, your audience might be smaller but it is more focused and that the people who see the ads are in one way or another interested in what you are promoting. This is what you call a targeted audience. That is why traditional advertising (i.e billboards, print ads and tvc’s) is on the decline, more and more brands (even the biggest brands in the world) are starting to shift to digital ads because you get more bang for your buck.

yea we could only do a big face palm to them . poor marketing/ poor advertising/ poor promotion/ no major sponsor/ stinky media partner, really slow when it comes to promotion and yet they are so confident in their so called future plans. uhhggg-

I think HHE is old-fashioned. They think the right way is to promote MNL48 the old fashion way eg: going into showtime, billboards.

Tbh, I really think they should really target those interested in the asian idol industry not the masa. Like you guys said they can do this via social media, online ads etc.

The general Filipino public would't even shed some money to buy MNL48 goods or go to events. It's the working class that they need to target (and students) who both are active on social media. Working people and students who are interested in idols.

And yet, they have the worst social media handling. No constant updates (at least in my mind), lack of hype for the girls online. For me, fans only hype them up. They only post on social media when an event is coming. For me they should post more.

 

So... Basically just introduce MNLBingo

I'm so excited for the concert! I've watched two concerts in Kia Theatre already (1 standing and 1 seated) and even if you're in the back part of the ground floor, it's still a good view of the performer on stage. Hopefully the price of the tickets won't be too expensive so more MNLoves can come.
