They have done prerecorded ANN's before. Such as Makotin, Okada and Mikichan's first ANN, with Miichan, back when the three were still under 18.

What do you mean by that?

Seeing how Rena's position is pretty good in the new stage (she has front line position in many songs, better than various other members like Mofu, etc), I think it's reasonable to assume she won't be kicked out of the Senbatsu for the 2nd single.
Or maybe I'm just being hopeful.

 

I have one question lingering: I see here and then mentions on how NGT48 is tied to local government, has its support and such. How is that? Are there sources supporting such claims?

 

You are right, even if she gets called up in ANN she probably would say less than 5 sentences with that line up.

Well, the NGT members went to visit the prefecture governors and shook his hand when Seishun dokei came out. And local news outlet are often updating their news, especially the recent SSK and even the new stage lol. And you can see the NGT public promotion almost in every corner of Niigata city center, metro system. There are many CM's and local events were offered to them as well. I think the local government saw the potential profit growth since the SSK last year and they are seem more than welcome to help them promote the NGT brand in every local media possible. That's how I see it.

This goes with the same for STU.

My assumption for NGT48 next singles, 2nd single & 3rd single.

1. 2nd single: with her achievements this year such as reaching Kami 7 on sousenkyo & becoming first native NGT48 to join an agency other than AKS, Should management grant center position to Ogiyuka? Then the single should be released before this year ends so Ogiyuka will complete her golden year.
2. 3rd single: I guess NGT48 will already have 2nd gen or even Team G. Then this single's center will be ace of NGT48 2nd gen who is heavily pushed?

I believe only members who've graduated from highschool can appear on ANN. It's broadcated at 1 AM - 3 AM. A midnight show. Students should sleep because they must go to school in the morning.

^ Nah, that doesn't count. The girls met the "rich aunt" in Tokyo. I want the rich aunt to walk in the streets of Niigata so she knows how her nieces suffer to find an open store to buy a candy.
