[GENERAL] The NGT48 Thread

The girls did very well at TIF in Bangkok. I like how they rotated the centers.

I like it how the NGT48 staff has the overture down to a 'away pack'..... same feel and visuals as at the NGT48 theatre.

I wonder if we would be able to see what the NGT48 did the day before at the BNK48 Theatre.

I watched all three nights of TIF in Bangkok... NGT48, JKT48 and BNK48 parts.... I felt the NGT48's part flowed a lot better especially with Anju MCing (maybe my bias).

I just took the chance to talk about Idols while I got interviewed. I knew there was a chance that this was getting aired. The assistant of the reporter was clearly a wota himself, he tried to ask me a ton of questions, the moment he knew I am into idols They even tried to get me to sing one of AKBs songs. Well, they tried xD

I can't speak japanese, so I don't know what they say on the japanese website, hopefully nothing bad ^^

Wow, really? Didn't expect that it would go that viral to even reach some members. Did the girls just say that they saw this or did they something else/more? I wish I could understand them, now I have to study japanese even harder!

Personally, I was pleased and kinda surprised to watch the team play between Anju and Cherprang, who (as it turns out) could speak Japanese pretty fluently, during the final NGT x BNK segment. The other BNK girls cannot speak in Japanese, right? Maybe it's because she was impressed by it, but I like how Anju became confident and started a short back-and-forth with her, considering her to be on a same native speaker level.

And I don't want to be a wet blanket or anything, but since this is also a point that has been addressed in a private conversation recently, there're also some complaints I need to air... Could the management have spent a little more efforts providing some coverage, or at least infos or advertisement, for NGT's appearance at TIF, via SNS? Seriously, I'm kinda disappointed about how under-promoted NGT was for this event, that it was basically down to the members having to post about it on their own Instagram and Photolog profiles after it took place, and that's about it.
Not an single announcement on the NGT's official Twitter account (but, sure enough, they have one to inform that the Rainbow Tower will be dismantled...), not even a special video message on TIF's official Facebook page, from what I could see. Really, what gives?

On the other hand, from what I have seen and what I have heard, the NGT fans in Thailand deserve much praise and respect for taking the initiative and volunteering to do PR work themselves, to compensate for the management and even the event organizers. Not only did they prepare NGT-themed uchiwas for everyone, they also printed these flyers and decided to hand them out to anyone interested, all in order to raise awareness about the members in preparation for the concert.
