"LAPIS ARCH is a fresh unit formed last December by three top runners of NMB48 5th generation, Jonishi Rei, Umeyama Cocona, and Yamamoto Ayaka. A solo concert will be held on February 14, and what is the secret story of the formation of a unit that has attracted a lot of attention from fans as being the future of the group? We will send you an interview with the March issue of "Monthly Entertainment" along with gravure cuts.
──The formation of LAPIS ARCH and a solo live event were announced at a special performance of three people last December.
Yamamoto: Originally, we started talking about what we wanted to do, but I was really happy because we didn't expect to be able to do it as a unit. However, since the performance members were announced at a performance that was not announced in advance, I was a little anxious about what the fans would think, but I was relieved to have comments from the people who watched the performance and distribution to support me did.
──What made you want to do something with the three people?
Jonishi: When we did the unit at the 9th anniversary live last year, the feedback from the fans was very good. If I wanted to do it again, everyone was on the path to the unit with the same feeling (laughs).
──The origin of the unit name?
Umeyama: Lapis is made from a lapis lazuli jewel, and the arch has many meanings, but I hope it shines.
Yamamoto: Don't go roughly (laughs).
Jonishi: I can't tell you anything (laughs).
Yamamoto: Arch added "H" of "HOPE" to the initials of the three, but it also includes the meaning of "hanging bridge" so that various people can know NMB48.
It's time for sit up training for Danceable!
In the idol way, of course
