ZIP! SPRING FES 2020 has revealed its first artists line-up today

THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, Stray Kids, M!LK, Hinatazaka46, BREAKERZ, Novelbright and Nogizaka46 will participate in ZIP! SPRING FES 2020, which will be held from 24 to 26 March 2020 at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL.

Nogizaka46's live-action movie "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!" revealed today that the upcoming live-action movie will also inspire a television drama this April. The 6-episode TV drama will be aired on MBS on 5 April 2020, and TBS on 7 April 2020. Moreover, the live-action movie has confirmed the release date: 15 May 2020.

 

FANTA x Nogizaka46's FANTAzaka Gakuen campaign will have four new members joined. The new members will be Hori Miona, Kitano Hinako, Kubo Shiori and Iwamoto Renka.

Coca-Cola Japan has revealed a new design with Hori Miona, Kitano Hinako, Kubo Shiori and Iwamoto Renka's images for the Fanta range featuring new look packaging for Fanta Grape and Fanta Orange. The design packaging will be available on 13 April 2020.

ANN broadcast from Nagoya this week, ahead of the 8th Year Birthday Live. All four gens were represented, making for an unusual combination: Shinuchi, Umezawa, Mayu, Kana.

Spoiler: Translated Highlights

-Shinuchi saw the members' names listed on the back of the 8th Birthday Live shirts and noticed that the numbers per generation lined up almost exactly. 1:11, 2:9, 3:12, 4:11. But 4th gen will soon become 16.
-Mayu spent the day preparing for the overnight stay in Nagoya. Shinuchi says the Birthday Live is over several nights so members actually need a lot of luggage, as much as when traveling overseas. At hotels, Ume always wears her own pajamas; Kana goes nude. Shinuchi and Ume always pack a small electric massager.
-During ANN’s broadcast time (1:00AM), Mayu is usually awake watching anime on her phone, recently Kimetsu no Yaiba.
Points of interest for this Birthday Live?
-It will be Mayu’s first proper Birthday Live.
-Due to graduations, Kana will perform in new unit combinations and had to learn difficult new dances.
-Ume is glad the 3ki can all be together. She says a lot of 3ki songs are cheerful, but she’s not good with cute songs like Tokitokimekimeki. Shinuchi says she loves Ume performing cute songs and notices that Ume always has a troubled face during them, which Ume says is because she doesn’t know how to present herself.
-Shinuchi also had to learn difficult new dances. She wants to eventually perform every Nogi song she’s unconnected to before she graduates. (Apparently meaning every song that wasn't originally for Shinuchi, but don’t know if she’s including solo songs, etc.)

-Shinuchi (from Saitama) and Ume (from Kanagawa) discuss how it feels like they're home when they go back and see the low roofs, versus Tokyo where the buildings are too high.
-Ume’s home was surrounded by paddy fields, it was a 20-30 min walk to her middle school. The streetlights switched off at 8, so if she came home after club activities, it was dark and she had to rely on her bicycle lights. But the stars were beautiful and meteor showers were very visible. The roads also had no guardrails, so she once fell into a field while biking and tore her navy blue windbreaker.
-The fields around Shinuchi’s home were not paddy fields, they grew green onions, daikon, etc.
-Kana (Saitama) commuted to school in Tokyo by train.
-Mayu (Saitama) also biked past paddy fields on the way to school, and also fell into a field once.

-While asking if the others are familiar with 1seg (an old broadcasting service available on old cellphones), Shinuchi (28) is shocked to learn Ume (21) and Mayu (21) are the same age. Shinuchi thought Ume was closer to her own generation. Discussing various members’ ages, Shinuchi says Momoko’s 20 but doesn’t feel like 20. Kana (25) says she thought Ayatii was 5 or 6 years younger than her, but Ayatii’s only 1 year younger. Shinuchi thought Mayu was about 18. Shinuchi entered Nogi at 21 so she’s the only member who didn’t do a Nogi coming of age ceremony. But new 4th gen Yumiki Nao will also be entering at 21. There’s a lot of members around Mayu’s age; Shinuchi says they should get along better then. Ume and Mayu haven’t hung out before though.

-Shinuchi used a MiniDisc audio player when she was a student. Ume used to fall asleep listening to a MiniDisc and finds them nostalgic. But Kana was only 4 years old when MiniDiscs were used, she listened on iPod. Mayu’s never used a MiniDisc. More proof that Ume is part of Shinuchi’s generation!
-What was the 1st CD you bought? Kana: Radwimps. Shinuchi: Morning Musume’s Mr. Moonlight. Ume: [something like Kuwataimuzu-san?? not sure] Mayu: Mizuki Nana.

-Gyaru fashion. Kana’s school had strict regulations, but once students left school, they’d switch their uniform ribbons with flashy pink ones and shorten their skirts. Loose socks were popular at Ume’s school. Mayu doesn’t like people getting angry at her, so the only rebellious thing she did was trying colored lipstick. Mayu’s high school was strict, no makeup allowed.
-Kana’s school only allowed regular pencils, so she used a mechanical pencil disguised to look like a pencil.
-Shinuchi and Ume often attracted scolding from teachers about their appearance, even though they weren’t any more messy/inappropriate than others.
-Kana and Mayu’s schools required them to submit notes certifying their natural hair color.
-The first time Shinuchi dyed her hair dark brown, she used too much dye and it turned blonde at the roots. She got yelled at.
-Mayu was in a group of friends in school who called themselves “Cobra” because they had a cobra pose. Despite the strong name, Mayu was actually quiet in school, there were no particularly loud people in her class either.
-In a personal essay for graduation, Kana wrote that her dream in the future was “Seek the truth.” She was influenced by a drama she was watching at the time.

when shinuchi said momoko didnt feel like she is 20, i was like super agree..the generation group in the last nogichuu shows that well. she seems like 15yo girl. even asuka with her young face isnt feel out of place. lol
