Idk if it's possible or not, but isn't Kouhaku is the best place to promote your soon-to-be-released single? Especially with new center.

It's another prediction iirc, but I would very much prefer that. I can't really imagine that song without Maiyan so it would be interesting to see how they deal with it.

 

100% Ozono center if they're gonna perform Shiawase no Hogoshoku. Better than WOWWOWOWOW but still... yawn.

 

Maybe they'll do that 2nd Gen song....

Just for reference, Nikkan Sports got their prediction wrong for Nogizaka, Keyakizaka, AKB, TWICE, and many other groups last year. We really won’t know until Kouhaku announces the songs themselves.
And since there is no rules against performing old songs my long-shot prediction is... Nandome Or honestly, Nogi is at the point when they could start performing medleys so they may do that as well.

I actually keep forgetting about that song, I think because it was given such little promotion or fanfare - I liked it well enough when it was released but then I feel like it was kind of stomped from time and memory by Wow Wow Wow Wow, like a great movie ruined by a shitty sequel.

 

It couldn't have been that great if you forget it so easily.

 

Personally I'd love it if they'd perform Shiawase no Hogoshoku. Not because I like the song (I don't) but because it would be great to see Momoko center it (although maybe we're all wrong and management will give it to someone else). Nandome would be great as well, one of Nogi's best songs. But imo, if they perform a song whose center graduated, it will be centered by Mizuki, to create hype for the new single.

 

Curious who will center sekaijuu, will it be Ikuta x Asuka? I would love to see that....

 

Does it means they will perform sekaijuu on Kouhaku? If that so, that is good. Much better than r246.

 

I'm wondering if the song actually has choreography.

 

They performed this past summer alone at Jingu, so there is some dance already associated with it.

 

Best Nogi song released in 2020 is "Yukkuri to Saku Hana", they should perform this one at Kouhaku this year and give 2nd gen girls their moment too.
