I don't understand this move. Did they slightly edit the video and re-uploaded it? Or anything else?

 

According to this official update (https://www.nogizaka46.com/s/n46/news/detail/66410?ima=0532&pri1=202305), they're celebrating Asuka's graduation by releasing a bunch of videos. I think the original was just the short version. The long form only available on the 2nd MV collection.

 

Looks like it's also a 4K release. If they continue, it'd be nice to see 4K MVs for Hadashi, Itsuka, Jigochu, and Sing Out!

My first thought is why would Seira open this to the public? On top of that she gave a name. Will just aggravate the situation with the incoming virtue signalling from fans. Why not deal with this matter within the group?
But maybe there's a full context to this so let's wait for now I guess?

Man, that's truly heinous if it's true but I don't think this will be good for Seira either. I wouldn't be surprised if she took a brief hiatus, maybe the next single, for revealing BTS information. Just a sh!tty situation all around.

 

I know Japanese fan culture and expectations are totally different but from a western perspective, I don't see how anyone wouldn't throw their full support at Seira. Yeah revealing BTS stuff is "bad" but maybe not when it is about normalized terrible stuff.

 

This must be recent because, cmiiw wasn’t Seira on hiatus during Saya’s accident? When listening to the conversation it may be in jest and Fujimon trying calm the situation down saying the director must be joking.
