Whoa, I think this can be a good idea. A 48 group in Kazakhstan would tell the world that cute Kazakh girls aren't only Sabina Altynbekova, also Kazakhs are Mongoloid aka Asians, not Caucasian like most people think. The groups is likely in Almaty, Kazkahstan's largest city? Also it'd be 2nd 48 group to be made in an Islam majority country after JKT48.

Those boy groups are really kpop-esque. So they're MEH. Just show them Jpop and other weeb stuffs.

 

No. The stations are based in Hanoi but most entertainment programs are produced in ho chi minh city. They made the right dicision to make the group in Saigon because it’s the art & entertainment center of Vietnam. Everything happens here.

Yes, Kazakhstan is such a beautiful country and I love their culture, language and traditional music

I also wish a group 48 in Mongolia, but there has a population more than three million habitants there so that's not a good idea. Here are also some Mongolia pop music videos that look a lot like K-pop.

They mention a few ASEAN countries in the article: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar and Taiwan, which I assume is where they are planning on doing business? I wonder if we'll get PhnomPenh48 and Yangon48 next.

I wouldn't be surprised if they started making international kennin positions and eventually a SEA SSK.

Original Post: Wouldn't surprise me. There's a show in Vietnam called "The Debut 2018" that's suppose to form a co-ed idol group. There's also rumors that Vietnam will be getting their own Produce 101 series too.

Linking this because I think it could give us an idea of the types of voices Vietnam likes as well as Vietnamese TV, and marketing.

I'm assuming it's asking which members should AKS send to visit the trainees when they have them. I think letting fans pick the transfer member would be a disaster.

Personally I don’t think it’ll hurt in any way, it’s just a survey after all. And since we are in this topic for me it’s a very good idea to do a survey before the debut, this company never worked with idol fans and I find this very mature of them to admit it. Most agencies would just do as they please & treat their new group as product/regular artist without thinking about how the fans feel which can result into fans leaving the fandom.
I wish more agencies would do this
