How much do views matter for ske/48groups? There isn't many people who bring views into conversation here but i saw on twitter some fans talking about it so i don't know. Do they matter that much?

    They don't matter?

Most of what they upload is short versions, which people are not going to bother to watch more than once or twice.

As for full versions... they don't put much thought into PVs anymore, so I guess they're lucky fans watch the videos even once. :XD:

Idk, i think they matter to those who want to compare the 48 groups between them? to see who gets more views, it's like a competition or something? It's the only situation i've seen people talking about views tbh

Ahh yeah, makes me remember the 51st single thread with the B-side view count "race"...:XD:

I think its a good thing that SKE rarely showcase a boastable result in this aspect. Makes us less obnoxious e-peen fans and better concentrate our energy on the more impartant matter.

Of course thats just my take on things.

I'm happy for SKE but I wish they gave us another Ebi series show (or some other similar variety show) instead of all these random shows they're doing.

Well ebi started off as a random show as well. It just so happened that it turned out good (but turned bad).
Having this new talk show will help them reach out to a larger audience than their (mostly stable) idol fans. Plus we do have some manga fans in the group so everyone will get to see the idols differently, rather than in a common stale variety programme.

Come to think of it, one of yukatan (and yuria's) relative is a manga artist. Perhaps we'll finally get to see some fun interaction too?

    (Crossposting from Election's thread)

By the way, I guess I should post this in last year's Election thread, but don't want to revive old ones. Kaotan just posted her SKE48 Documentary, "Senbatsu Sousenkyo 2017 - Our Election". For things like this she became senbatsu.

if the video does not show watch the video here

I have just realized current stages have been going on for 2 years. Here hoping we will have new stages along with the 10th year anniversary. It is unrealistic to hope for original stages so I am hoping for good shuffle stages like KasaAshi or SKE Fes. And as long as KII don’t have to do another K stage ... Tbh SKE has enough songs in their discography right now to do 3 SKE-original shuffle stages, there are just so many good B-sides and album songs left forgotten.

Personally glad with Yukina prelim. Even better that she isn't the only one from 8th gen.

7D2 also going strong as expected since their voter really need that moral booster. Yo Airi.

Can't ask much for the rest. May everyone plan worked.

Yuasa said a while back on 755 that they will get new stages after the Zenkoku-Tour finished. But since we still don't have any dates for that either it'll prolly take a while

Watched the pilot episode. 3 things:
    1. Fresh TV is pay-to-view web-channel. No ads though.
    2. The cast for this episode is Kumachan, Isshiki, and Tani. Apparently Kuma is into Shoujo manga, while Rena is a SnK/Gintama/HxH reader and Tani, is into "hard" manga such as Gantz. Also, it's striking contrast between the chatty Kuma-Tani and the reserved Isshiki.
    3. It's a radio-alike talk show. With corners in-between. Aside the interview with known mangaka, there are corner where they will read fan letter and responding to it, and much else. It's surprisingly a deep content show.

Probably won't watch the next episode. At least until I read more manga to catch up with the discussion.....
    :fear:
