Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that be a requirement for something like this, where people are going to pay money to be transported? The fact there will be performances on said boat is secondary to the fact it's a vessel intended for moving cargo/passengers via commercial methods, ie. payment given for services rendered. Isn't there a law that makes government intervention facilitation a requirement?

 

What we meant for 'directly involved' here is not just to the point of publishing a permit or performing some official examinations. The Japanese government also provides direct technical support on the reconstruction of the ship and direct involvement in promoting the ship as STU48's theater, in which STU48 is the ambassador of the national tourism project campaign 'C to Sea Project'.
