She has a 'thing' to her enun/pronunciation that I rarely see but in bilingual Eng/Jpn JAs: her Japanese, though she's definitely a native speaker... is tinged with the same 'drawl' from being able to speak fluent, natural-to-an-American West Coast English, that my cousins tell me I have whenever I visit. They tell me it's from how different muscles are used to speak both languages, and how they get in each other's way.

Her 'mashup' bilingual speaking voice, isn't totally 'native-Japanese-knows-barely-I-have-a-pen', nor 'homeslice-American-knows-only-tsunami-and-Honda', but an adorable mix of the two. I'd love to hear her read a story English-only.

I'm getting more interested in know about Rara, she seems very bright and her smile is very contagious - any show that you can recommend me? I've seen her performances SKE is the group I follow the least (except for Nao).

Happy Birthday Lala chan 17th years old now...

 

^ My focus isn't as much on SKE these days as on some of the other J48G... but these two are easily among my favorite SKE members.

Ryoha is a Tiger-year baby... and she definitely looks and acts the part! Plus she sulks just like a kitten...

Rara... well when you're that cute AND bilingual... I can't help but fawn. Though a baby Dragon would prolly be more my wife's match

SKE will be part of the "Thank You Disney" album. They will sing "We're All In This Together".

If this album is going to follow the same path as May J's Disney album, I hope she centers the song. Her English will be of good use.
