Story in the press about her efforts and the competition.
"On October 2, Nishino confessed that she was 156 cm tall and weighed 56.05 kg, and lamented "too much". She reveals that she is “too fat and spicy” and aims to lose 10 kilos for the “Summer Style Award” (ASIA GRAND PRIX) held on December 1st to inspire herself.
After that, Nishino reported that she lost weight steadily with diet and training, and on November 13 she lost about 5.8 kilograms to 50.7 kilograms. She seems to be refraining from eating out and drinking for a diet, and she is enthusiastic about the tournament."
Miki is doing great, her diet is very healthy and she exercise a lot and lose weight little by little. I hope she can achieve her goal in the end, either way she will be very close to it and she looks good already now. After all she wants to achieve this for the award show but also for her adult ceremony which is the month after (in 2020) so she has time.
If you guys want to see more about Miki's hardwork and what she does for diet, you can follow her on IG and she posts IG stories almost everyday about what she does, eats or exercise.

"Former AKB48 Miki Nishino will appear on the TV Asahi series “Don't be like me!” (Every Monday midnight 0: 20 ~) She confessed her first love failure after graduating from AKB48.
Nishino who joined AKB48 at the age of 13 and kept the rules of banning love. As soon as she graduated, she said, “I want to romance that much. After that, she broke down with an older man, and at that time, she was approached by a group of business associates as well as by men of the same age.
The program will feature a VTR that reproduces the first date of Nishino's mess played by Nishino himself.
`` I met and confessed on the first day and I did a mess '' It was revealed.
When I contacted `` I got cold, let's break up '' in 4 and a half months of dating, I got a reply with `` I understood '' from him who was through until now, and the dating ended after meeting about 9 times.
[pictures we have seen before that have nothing to do with dating]

Former AKB48, talent Miki Nishino (20) updated his Instagram on the 19th. Photos of the announcement of the graduation of the group are posted, and surprises are heard.
Nishino wrote, "I have returned to the contours of the heyday for the first time in five years," and posted "Twin tails with bangs so far." The four photos posted were described in order as "present → AKB graduation day → graduation announcement → heyday".
Miki will be in a TV show called 'THE Matchuo 2020' on Chukyo TV on 1/3 where she and some other celebrities will have their fortunes told:
Apparently Miki will confess to an 'unrequited love' in her life.
Miki won the "Flame Award" from J-Cast (from what I can gather it is given to someone who "flamed" this year, which might mean being outspoken).
"Miki Nishino has been selected as a winner of the 2nd "Flame Award" by the J-CAST News Editorial Department, who commends the "burned" person online this year."
"When I read (the text of the award certificate) and heard that "I hate shaking hands so much that I vomit it," I thought again, "I'm saying something terrible." But I'm glad!
-- Nishino was originally an "Orthodox" line as one of the "Three Musketeers". It was sometimes called "the second Mayuyu". That is now a "flame character". When did you start thinking that you were off the Orthodox line and headed for the Flame Line?
I think that was triggered by the project “AKBINGO!” (Nippon Television), which appeared at AKB48, “What is inside the box?” The reaction there was so big that I thought it would be fun to be on a variety show, and then I became fat and no longer orthodox ... We should have stopped where we could go back, but we had to go to the area where we couldn't go back.
-- Speaking of which, on the video channel "We" co-starring with HKT48's Anna Murashige, comments such as "Miki-chan is really an adult and listening to people, but Murashige is noisy" was. It's a bit different from the flames, but will you give up the “large reaction” and “noisy” characters to Mr. Murashige and consider a different direction?
My diet may have changed my mindset quite a bit. Even if the viewers hate you, the co-stars say, "It's good to burn." So I thought, "I'm glad I burned separately. I'll like it." But from "Samasta", my thinking about flames changed. When the number of female fans increased, I realized that there were people who supported me as I worked hard on the diet, and there were people who looked at me and thought to work hard, and said, `` To burn another, It's not that good. " I gave up, too. It's natural that people hate me, and few people like me so much. However, I felt that if I worked hard on something, there was no possibility that I would like me, so I thought that I should do my best to be able to do `` good flames '' Was. Maybe I've been calm this past year."
Note: 炎上 is translated as flame; 燃える as burned.
New Year message from Mikichan:
Is it really her on the first picture? I understand filters and all, but nothing here looks like Miki's. Even the nose, mouth...
"heyday" huh... I'm not one to like Lolis, but she was really her best back then...
