I'm actually genuinely surprised she passed. The way she diets always seems super bad, what with dieting for a few weeks and getting super fit and then going back to old eating habits. I hope that maybe studying for this qualification made her realise her bad habits at least...

My opinion for dieting is if you want to lose weight, is to eat small amounts, be varied the food, is served on small plates and exercise every day.

 

This may be going a bit off topic but eating small amounts isn't even necessary in my opinion; just reducing what you're already eating or finding healthier alternatives. From September 2015 to August 2016, I lost roughly ~20kg even though I still ate quite a lot and also ate crisps and other snacks frequently. Every body is different, but what worked for me was simply adding physical exercise (which I hadn't done at all before) and actually stopping to eat once I felt full, rather than finishing the dish I had because I felt bad for the person who cooked it for me. Also taking actual breaks between meals, as in waiting at least 3 hours to eat again and also have your last meal 3 hours or longer before you go to sleep. Snacks are okay, but if you're constantly snacking, obviously it's gonna affect you.

If you can change your diet long-term, it will have much more impact on your looks and especially your physical (and to an extent mental) well-being. I genuinely hope that is something that Miki has learned... if she only uses her new-found knowledge for whenever she wants to slim down rather than use it as a life style change, I'm not sure how much that helps
