    From the Oricon story: apparently they waited until the chance of miscarriage had decreased (entered a safe period). Someone who knows more about pregnancy might be able to tell us how far along she is.


    "Maeda 's affiliation Ota production belongs to in writing, "I received a report that suddenly I was pregnant now from Atsuko Maeda who entered with Mr. Katsuji Ryou, I got a report that I entered a stable period, so I will inform you here" Announcement.

    If she's just reached the safe period, that means she had her 12 week scan recently, so she's about a third of the way there. We can expect her to give birth around March.

    I thought she might be pregnant! Doesn't seem like it was planned so I hope they're both happy and excited, even though it was likely a big shock. I hope their marriage is happy and long-lasting and their child is healthy.

    We might see more Kami 7 marriages and pregnancies in the coming years as most of the girls are at the age where most women like to settle down and begin their families. Exciting! I kind of hope some of them will have daughters who are interested in continuing the AKB legacy :blush:

    Congrats to Acchan (now the first Kami 7 member to become a mom). I'm guessing that kid will be a future member of the 48Groups (Either her daughter centering AKB48's 100th Single or whomever is in charge of the 48Groups by then creating the first Boy 48Group). I will look forward to seeing them together at AKB48's 30th Anniversary Show lol.

    The ANN article links two sources. Both are from 15th September coinciding with the original announcement of her being pregnant.

    No further sources are given, so dubious at best.
