From the pre-release, the book collection was gathered mainly from online bookstores, and there were a lot of reservations that exceeded the initial assumption. For this reason, the number of copies of the first edition was set to 1.5 times the original estimate, but it recorded an unusual sales volume of about 50% of the first edition on the third day of release. The momentum never stopped, and it became a reprint in a month after its release.''

So I guess all that means is that the book didn't sell as much as I thought it would, but sold a helluva lot more than the publishers anticipated.( I fully expected it to be the best-selling AKB photo book ever), but I love the news of a second printing. That increases the chances of a second book in 2020.

She clearly answered a question in that first vid about how she feels being a Youtuber, I suspect she said she was happy and she loves doing it?

 

From what I understand, first she said that she always loved watching videos of Youtubers, and it's one of the reason she decided to make a Youtube channel, she wanted to make videos that make people smile. She made videos about things that interest her and she's happy when she receive good reactions or when people comment. and yes she loves doing it! and at the end, she says that her goal is to reach 100,000 subscribers someday.

Btw Naanya just reached 20,000 subscribers recently, I hope she can achieve her goal!

 

I wish her all the best but 100,000 might be a tad bold unless she somehow really goes viral in Japan. Not that it matters, even at 20K subs, she can combine the income from that with her modeling and photobooks. At the very least, she'll live comfortably.

Anybody, besides me, surprised that there were no shots of Naanya from behind in her jeans? If someone is modeling jeans the first thing that anyone wants to see is how the model looks from behind in them. And watching this video makes it appear as though that was done intentionally. Naanya showed so much of her backside in her photo book, I find it odd that she avoided that particular pose in this video. Just saying. Maybe those $23 jeans weren't particularly flattering to her.
