Takamina was the 13th MC for DAM Channel. All of the MCs before her had the position for about a year or even less so its not surprising. I guess they like switching their MC every year. She did an amazing job as MC. She had a lot of very natural and fun interactions with a lot of the artists on the channel.

Takamina and Korenani staff took the Kanji test last Sunday. I wonder what they're planning on doing with the results. I think its kind of cute that the staff took the test with Takamina. I wonder how she did especially since she is known to be street smart not book smart.

Even though Takamina and Speed Wagon were listed as the MC for the special program. She appeared to be more of the main MC in this special. Her reactions to the different students way of living was really funny and cute. She even found a good timing to add in her famous line. This show is very interesting to watch if anyone is interested about young people living in Tokyo.

(This program reminds me a lot of Domoto Kyoudai where the members would bully and tease Takamina. Takamina has a lot of cute and funny interaction with Yanagihara and the dog (Okazaki Taiiku).

During 03/09 live broadcast of Korenani from Okinawa. Tunnels set up a dokkiri for Takamina. The guest for Takamina's radio that day was a Professor from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Near the end of her radio show there was a mail from a listener telling Takamina that there is a place where she can see a crocodile near the hotel they were broadcasting from. So Takamina and the staff take a trip to see the crocodile. But the mail was actually part of the prank (the crocodile is not actually there). Three years ago Takamina went through a similar dokkiri she was pushed into the water where she believe there were sharks. This time it was the same dokkiri but with crocodile. The dokkiri will be aired on 03/23 Fuji TV.

You can hear the dokkiri live from her radio program at the end. They haijacked Takamina's Korenani program for the dokkiri. She sounded very shock and flustered. She even tried her best to finish the ending to her radio program even though she was still in shock.

The report mentions the support that Minami has among the young people, particularly young women. A few weeks ago, Minami and the KoreNani staff took a kanji exam. Everyone, including Minami, failed... (She mentioned this on a KoreNani episode last week.)

And she finally discussed the fake mole that she occasionally draws on her face during today's KoreKani. She's showing her respect (a tribute?) to Shiina Ringo.

A late reaction - I'm really excited about her new NHK gig starting in April. Being one of the main 'casters' for a golden time program on NHK is really a great opportunity. I'm almost starting to wonder if she has too many regular programs now, assuming she retains most of her current regular programs. It's been almost a year since she officially graduated from the group, and it's probably still too early to tell, but so far I like how her career is progressing.
