Thanks for the preview for her concert. I think that the song choices for her concert has a lot of variety so I'm looking forward to it. Takamina's voice has improved a lot since she left AKB. In her first year after leaving AKB her voice improved a bit but she did still have problems with her breathing. But now her improvement is more drastic and its really good. I also want to mention that I like how Takamina likes to move a lot and is very expressive when she sings. I've noticed a lot of singers especially idols don't move or show much expressions when they don't have choreography. She makes the performance more fun.

 

I hope she will debut on tv someday.

To be honest, I think Takamina's singing career has taken a back seat compared to her talent career. Her career as a talent is most likely the jobs that is bringing her and the agency the most money so they'll probably continue focusing on that. She's also mostly known for her TV and radio MC jobs. So from a business view I don't think they have any interest in furthering her career in music. I don't know how most of Takamina fans feel but personally I love her TV and radio personality as much as her singing so I don't mind.

About her performance on Music Fair I recall one negative article about Takamina's singing and to be honest the website that wrote that article is known to write a lot of rubbish news that's not trustworthy. I thought her performance there was actually quite good and if I remember correctly during the broadcast the response was mostly positive on twitter.

The other artist may have sang a few more songs but we should remember that they were there as artist only. Takamina had the responsibility as the ambassador, MC, and as an artist.

(Mukaichi Mion and Kato Rena are both in M&S agency which is associated with Production Ogi. I wonder if Takamina or Kojiharu were involved with choosing the members but even if they weren't I think the agency chose very well. Both have potential in career growth outside of AKB.)

This is really random but does anyone remember the AmebaPigg Unit Battle?
