Miire has announced graduation.

That's two down from Doudemo Ii Hito Kamen senbatsu.

Theater Performance on September 30.
Last HS event at an AKB48 Love Trip Handshake event on October 2.

 

These are the types of graduations I hate, when it feels like a member has more to achieve and graduates anyway.

I don't know if Miire ever makes senbatsu if she stays, but in the past year she's really grown into a wonderful example of what makes 48 groups feel rewarding; not just watching super popular members or weighing everyone on their ssk worth, but in how members like Miire bring unique life to their group through their own journeys and growth. No one in NMB smiles or laughs like Miire and there aren't a lot of members capable of making Nanshon48 interesting. I wish her the best, but I'll be struggling with this one.

 

She want to enter Univ. though, so it's all good.

I'm pretty sure she will make NMB senbatsu if she stays, maybe exploded in popularity when she reach 18, and much.

2 pages for her years of journey. That's telling how much int'l fans care for her, eh?

 

Unfortunately I think that the 3rd year HS/MS curse is back this year and Milky's protracted announcement/graduation put a stopper to the wave that is coming.

Miire has been reasonably successful. She was a member of 1 Teppotai (Nietzsche) Doudemo ii hito Kamen (arguably more Teppotai than the actual Teppotai) got her own YNN series with Moka, had a bunch of memorable moments in Nandeyanen Camp (the water pistol game and the pet bottle rocket) and got Request Hour Number 1 in one of the most touching moments in NMB RH history.

It sucks but thats part of life in the idol world.

Her activities in NMB have already ended. She is now a former member.
