    "On the 28th, at the SKE 48 Team E "SKE Festival" night performance at SKE 48theater in Nagoya, Sakae , the group's Goto Rara announced her graduation at the end of September.

    On this day, a "birthday" performance is held to celebrate Goto, who celebrates his 19th birthday on the 23rd. At the end of the show, Goto, in a speech from the ceremony, said that thanks to Team KII, Soda Sarina , who is a senior at Aoyama Gakuin University, who sent me a letter , "Here, one from me "I, Goto Rara will graduate from SKE 48," confessing the intention of graduation.

    Well, she could still be planning to do an exchange abroad in the near future. She seems to be studying English and American literature and many Japanese students in majors like this (and others of course too, but especially more "internationally" minded majors) often go abroad for a year.

    When I met her at HS back in April she told me that last year she spent some time studying at Oxford University in England, which presumably was during her hiatus from SKE48, so I'd guess that was just for a few months during the summer. Therefore she may well be planning to go abroad for a full year during her time at university in Tokyo.

    "On September 30, 2019, Team E “SKE Festival” performance was held at SKE48 Theater in Sakae, Nagoya. It was the final performance of Goto Rara who announced her graduation from SKE48 as of the end of September."

    She just posted a tweet, but the translation is a bit iffy, but from what I can gather, she has joined a new entertainment agency called "St. Force" or "Centforce". She is going to be an announcer.

    TBH I expected her to leave the entertainment industry to focus on school. I'm glad that I was wrong. Didn't want her to end up like Erena Ono who disappeared after leaving the entertainment industry.

    I'm surprised she was allowed to keep her Twitter and Instagram account. I thought members who were signed to AKS have their SNS accounts as property to AKS, as recently Ryoha had to create a new Instagram account.

    I wonder if it is a rule or the girls just want a fresh start and to distance themselves from the idol term.
    If it is a rule, then it's a pretty dumb one, as the girls worked for years to get their followers up and an inactive sns account doesn't benefit anyone.

    Just noticed that she (or her agency) cleared all her IG pictures from her SKE days. Only her graduation photo and anything newer remains.
    Thankfully her Twitter account still looks intact, but any linked IG images from back then are obviously gone.
