Team E’s Kaneko Shiori here.(。・ω・。)ゞ

Just a bit ago, I announced it on the Official Site.
I decided to graduate from SKE48.
I think many might be startled right now.

Sorry if the announcement happened to be so sudden.

When I was 15, I made a big decision: I joined SKE48 and moved from Saitama to Nagoya, all by myself.
I wanted to do all I could, but at first I wasn’t even
able to distinguish left from right and I did nothing
but abandon my own self to the natural flow of things.

I didn’t understand at all things such as center, being on front or being in the back so, honestly, when right in the beginning I was told I was part of Team E’s double center…it was hard on me.
While Kanon was put in senbatsu for the 4th single, I wasn’t.
So all I could feel at the time was the desire to join the senbatsu as soon as possible.
That’s why I was very happy when I could get in the senbatsu for Okey Dokey, and felt like that was finally the real start for me.
After that, I got in senbatsu for 3 consecutive Singles and had the privilege to appear on music shows and such but…I very well remember how I wasn’t able to leave any particular mark lol

But, you know?
From that moment onwards I stopped being able to move forward, as if time just freezed. Like…everyone’s clocks were moving, while only mine was broken.

That period lasted a bit more than a year.
I very well know how, during that time, many fans started to take distances from me.
Still…still I had fans who would support me more than anyone else.

If I could rank in the General Election is thanks to the fans.
I’ve done absolutely nothing.

To express it with a comparation, it was as if I was drowning and they ladled me out.

Probably, if I didn’t rank in last year’s General Election, I would’ve immediately quit.
This is just how big the Election result was for me.

Lately, girls said to be the members of the next generation are increasing
and I feel like I alone am being left behind,
wondering where the place for me to be is.
I got to think such things more and more.

See…Joining SKE has been the most relevant turning point of my entire life. Both the enviroment surrounding me and my daily life changed considerably.

I don’t have the kind of personality that allows me to go on greedily,
and it looks like I appear as I have no motivation at all…
But…but still! I wanted to work hard, I’ve been doing this
because I wanted to.

Yet now that I can’t feel any possibility for me here anymore,
I realized that I won’t be able to change if I just keep on going like this.

I guess this is my second big decision.

I decided to graduate from SKE and work hard on my own.

I’ll join an agency and I’ll challenge my possibilities and potentials.

I want to find a place in which I’ll be able to shine in my own way.

Truth is I was scared of announcing this.
Because I thought fans would’ve gone away from me if I did.
I thought I would’ve been left all alone, literally.

But I’m going to do my best so that I’ll come back
before your eyes as soon as possible.
And…I know it might be selfish for me to say this,
but I want for you to keep supporting me
and not forgetting about me. (;_

Being it with such a timing and also quite sudden,
I really don’t want for you to misunderstand or to
start assuming weird things on your own.
It’s not even in any way related to
devoting myself to studies or such.

I love this work, so I want to do my best more and more,
and I want to reach every single one of my goals.
Yet, it’s not like after quitting I’ll immediately be able
to do what I want to.
I believe the road is going to be even more strict,
but I’ve decided to do my best and so I will.

Maybe my words are not enough, I’m terrible at writing posts, grammar happens to just go here and there and some of the things I wanted to convey might not be that clear…
But one thing I want for you to understand,
is that this is not something that was easy for me to decide.
I’m now positively facing forward.

I mean to treasure the few remained activities in SKE,
same for the time I can spend with members and fans.

I’ll also fight during the Guam Marathon of the 13, keeping all the SKE feelings inside my heart, so that I’ll succesfully run all the 42,195 km.
I’m sad I won’t be able to appear in the Stage but I want to run the race so I’m gonna do my best!

This graduation announcement hurts my heart. I will continue to support her of course, but I'll miss her in SKE. I wish she had more time to shine in the group, maybe getting one more appearance in senbatsu before she leaves would make things easier for her fans?

the reason i started taking notice of ske was her :'(
i remember it was last year, around this time when i one of the latter episodes of saw shukan akb
the cleopatra greeting catched me inmediately,
after that everytime i see her i saw cleopatra
