While busy with work and Tumblr, I didn't have a chance to come here and wish a birthday for her.

The girl, however, had a really blast birthday celebrate by a lot of members! Show how much everyone love the girl!

Suga Nanako to graduate and cease activities at the end of the month. She is graduating to focus on her studies. Announced today during the Team E stage.

 

Wait? What?! I don't know what to feel about this... This is actually the first time that one of my oshis will graduate.

At one point, I am happy that she decided to focus on her study. And on the other side, knowing that I won't get to see her perform on the next year... :wah: Why so soon... I still haven't got to meet you personally yet... Now I feel devastated...

In official site, her last activity would be HS at february 2014. Meanwhile, nan said in her G+ it not really confirmed yet.

EDIT: I respect her decision to go this way, knowing that Nan, being very gifted in what she does best in the field of robotics, would like to take the long-term route (in terms of personal stability).

As I said, and some others, they think she should be the one to build a real Gundam. Or a Live Assault Suit.

 

Nannan! I'm so sad, you were the first ske member I took an interest in I wanted to see you do great things in ske and you were still young. Best of luck nannan. I wish I could've started following you earlier

That what it feels when you have your Oshi graduate back to back huh.

 

Aw man, this is tough, I'm sort of a fan of hers too. But she seems very bright and school is probably a better way to go for her than entertainment industry so I guess it had to be this way.

 

Well, she updated her blog and clearly stated her reason for graduating. She basically said that she was joining SKE for being SKE but has then realizes that the staff, especially on the producing side is more appealing to her right now and has decided to focus on going down that role.

It's too bad because she is obvious a part of SKE's future core, but at same time she found her career path and what she wanted to do and that really is part of what AKB Group as a whole is about.

 

Someone said she could get it easier as an entertainer by getting an interview and some sort of a test before being admitted to Waseda, but given her technical proficiency (undoubtedly Nan-Nan should be called the Tony Stark of SKE), like her father she would be gunning for admission into Japan's equivalent of MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), hence going the hard way like most young Japanese.

 

Well she said she wants to work backstage, but she also said she wants to discover all her opportunities at University... I think she just wants to enjoy the non-idol part of life & concentrate better on her future, which is understandable considering how smart she is.
