Oricon has just published a news article about Renapon becoming a voice actor in a TV anime series broadcast locally in Hokkaido:

It looks like the anime is entitled 'Sapporo otome gohan' which literally translates as 'Sapporo maiden rice' but that's probably not the correct meaning?

It has been confirmed that Hasegawa Rena (18), who graduated from NGT48 this April, will have her debut as an anime voice actress with the third season of "Sapporo Otome Gohan." (airing every Wednesday from 9:45~PM, for a total of 12 episodes *Hokkaido zone only), which is scheduled to begin its airing on September 4 on the Sapporo Cultural Broadcast.

The work in question, which has as its source the celebrated, Sapporo-original local manga "Sapporo Otome Gohan." (Writing: Matsumoto Ayaka / Editing: Air Dive), is a popular series which was adapted into 2.5D animation since April 2017. It depicts a group of women in their thirties who reside in Sapporo and who love eating above anything else as they get themselves refreshened from having lunches together, find a moment of comfort for themselves and proceed on with their lives.

Acting in the role of Seki Konomi -- a 29-year old dentist assistant and an attractive woman of the vixen kind who happens to be a younger friend of the protagonist -- is Hasegawa Rena, who personally gave her greetings on her Twitter account: "To everyone from Hokkaido, I'm pleased to meet you". Given that there are various restaurants appearing inside which do actually exist in the city of Sapporo, she expressed her hopes that: "I hope I'll be able to communicate to everyone about the food delicacies of Hokkaido! As I hope I'll get to make everyone's hearts throb with the romance adventure, too! I'll put all my heart and soul into it!".

Hasegawa graduated from NGT48 on May 18 together with Yamaguchi Maho (23) and Sugahara Riko (18). On her last theater performance she spoke about how "I have decided to work hard on my next dream. This is, to become a voice actress", and on June 10 it was eventually announced she had gone on to join the voice acting agency Crocodile.

It's interesting, it sounds like this is one of those kinds of shows I didn't know existed before I started looking for Japanese dramas. I don't recall the name/proper term, but there was a manga series and later live action shows and anime with the same theme - stressed young female office worker goes out to eat alone (or this case with female friends) at real restaurants, orders a couple simple dishes and alcohol, and has an internal monologue about the experience. They're simple but well done; it's a bit of a strange genre for me, but they do make me very much miss going out to eat in Tokyo.

Strangely enough I haven't seen it announced on her Twitter account yet unlike the rest of the activities, so I'll leave it here: looking at the ad banners somone reported Renapon as being part of the voice acting cast for the mobile war strategy game "Shishi no Gotoku" (in the role of Nene which is based on the historical figure of the Sengoku period by the same nickname)

Plenty of activities these days between the appearance on the talk corner 24 Hours TV, the announcement of her performance at the Niigata anime festival Gatafes and all, but most importantly today a tweet from Rena was posted to reveal she is part of the voice acting cast for "Dilili to Paris Jikan Ryokou", the Japanese edition of the French animation movie "Dilili in Paris", which saw its theatrical release just last August 24.
For more details: Rena's role is that of Camille Claudel, with the film itself being a period movie set at the time of France's Belle Epoque. An overview of it can be read over here.

Yesterday's livestream with Yamada Marina on CyberStep's channel, where they had a special event for Q&Q Answers, a mobile smartphone game in which both of them serve as voice actresses for two of the support characters.

Also, just caught up to it, but it seems like that starting from October, Renapon will be the main personality for the radio show "Nezucchi, Hasegawa Rena no Seiyuu-san Totonoimashita!" ("Nezucchi and Hasegawa Rena's It's All Set, Seiyuu!", that's the best translation I can come up with) , airing on 19:30 every Monday in the Niigata region and co-hosted with the same comedian/rakugo actor Nezucchi. Looks like every episode will welcome a different seiyuu as a guest. As seen below, recordings are already underway.

I didn't see it as advertised on her Twitter as her other voice acting activities these days, so to complement it I'll post here that Renapon is having a cross-promotion with Young Animal for the launch of a new manga series on said magazine. With its first chapter released on September 27, "Jadou Sniper" is a manga themed on table tennis, starting with the encounter between with a genius standing at a dead end and a boy of ordinary talent pursuing his own dream, in a cross between the orthodox and the anti-heroic. ■ About "Jadou Sniper"
"Keeping things alive is a talent in its own right". 15-year old Itoigawa Arata had engaged himself in table tennis since his childhood. Without being either too strong or too weak, he used to be the holder of an "unmemorable track record", so to speak, that is until with an entrance examination test he found himself making it just in time in a local school formidable in the sports department. It is this boy who, at the table tennis corner of the local hot springs facility, then makes an encounter with Hebiguchi, a tattoo-clad former boxer and now the establishment's manager...?
