1st unit performance after her haircut

 

oh my, such a surprise.
This is like her 3rd time changing her haircut.

I think this hairstyle is too short and make her looks like Shinamon

 

I think it really suits her and doesn't really look too much like Shinamon. she said on her g+ that she chose this hairstyle to stand out from the other members during TV appearances more, which isn't such a stupid idea

 

Wow I think she definitely stands out with it, she has a beautiful face to be able to pull off short hair

 

and i totally agree with her decision! now it's more easier to spot the only tall girl with the short hair!

It's so cool that Wakachan get's the chance to center Team H's coupling track "Chameleon no Joushikousei". She looks great in the PV preview:

So true! When I put on that preview, I was thinking, 'The center looks like Waka-chan... Holy crap, it is really is her!'. She has long hair in the preview so it threw me off for a few seconds. So happy she got to center this song. Correct me if I am wrong, but she's actually the third 1st gen who get to center a HKT song (after Sakura and Haruppy, Sasshi doesn't officially count) right? Ironic that she got this after this opportunity before more popular members such as Madoka, Natsu, Aoi or Shige

I am loving this center rotation concept

 

I always pictured her centering a PV where they play sports, especially baseball, but that's ok.

Then, at the end of the performance the Team H coupling of HKT’s 5th single was revealed.

S-, so-, somehow I became center.

Up until now I’ve had the chance to share quite some good news from a solo-job point of view, but nothing HKT48 related..

I’m glad I can finally do that!

Out of every member present on the PV-filming day, I was probably the last one to know about the center.

On that day I was being slow with my custome fitting and ended up being the only one still left in the the room.
Then my manager popped in and said: “Wakachan! The dancing instruction is going to begin! Hurry up, because you’re center today!”

I just thought, “Center? What??” …

When I arrived at the training room everyone shouted: “Congratulations Wakachan!”

I looked at the lyrics page and my name was at the top.
I looked at the positions and my name was next to the number 0.

Too confused and surprised, I was at a loss for words.

But a moment later all the various emotions a person can possibly have came out, and I felt freed. Lol.


Ah, some of you were probably surprised but the long hair was part of the director’s concept.
1-day extensions. ^o^
Everyone said to me that, after all, my long hair is still the best, so I’m just going to let it grow from this day onwards.

I have so much to say, this post became a bit of a mess.

I'm nothing but happy about this! Really fits her.
I also like how she cut her hair with an opportunity of progress in mind, then gets an opportunity and has to put in extensions for it lol

Yeah after the other CMs they are now getting campaigns for this bank!

That one has been running for a little while, but even better she now has a promo stuff with her alone on it!


Which is really good news for her. She sometimes felt a bit strange about only appearing with her family, which was great of course, but she also wanted to be recognised for herself.

For a bit different stuff in case anyone missed it, her center song Chameleon Joshikousei got #18 at RH!



She was super happy with this too of course. To be honest when they arrived at the last day, I kinda lost hope of seeing it. She alone called ppl to vote for it, and I didn't really know what kind of money goes around in her fandom. I was really glad to be wrong lol.

And lastly, this weekend she had her first solo gravure ever, for ExTaishu. No contest, no recommendation round, no nothing, just suddenly like this:



Kinda unreal, great news on itself, but it makes me wonder if it's just a random occurance, or whether there's some kind of push on the way.

Just wanted to point out how awesome Wakachan looks in her recent gravure...the scans are already up in her gallery, but she looks like she's having so much fun and is really getting cuter as the days go on...
