    There are lots of news stories (of course). I like this one about Kayama Yuzo who collaborated with PUNPEE in a song about a bride. (from one of my favorite sources of news, BuzzFeed.)

    Following the marriage of rapper PUNPEE and actress and former AKB48 member Sayaka Akimoto, Yuzo Kayama, who collaborated with PUNPEE in "Daughter-in-law 2015", gave a blessing comment to BuzzFeed. [The 2015 version is a remake of the Kayama Yuzo's original from 1966.]

    It seems that many people recalled this song when reporting the marriage, and on Twitter, there are voices such as "Please come to my real bride" and "Please come to my bride 2020!"

    Funny how a recent show left her out as a former AKB member when they highlighted FLAVE's website talent section and I see mixed reactions on fans. It seems her AKB legacy is slowly being washed out or forgotten (for some or perhaps they just have no idea), as she is now being strongly perceived as a celebrity, anchorwoman and actress.

    They highlight Orii Ayumi, who was part of AKB48 for one year + 3 months (original Team A member nonetheless), but not Akimoto, who was part of the group for like 7 years :^^;: Kaoru was also only a Kenkyuusei for a year and a month in 2011/12...

    I get why they highlight Mariya (9 years) and Yuka (6 years), but surely Akimoto's history with AKB48 is more important to her career than Ayumi's or Kaoru's haha

    So I watched Sniper: Assasin's End and I have to say it is a solid action movie. It is interessting till the end, but some parts of the plot are a bit faulty. But there was no real plot hole.
    Sayaka did a great job. Her acting was amazing and she spoke english very well. I hope she will get more opportunities to play roles in action movies. I think that genre fits her well

    "Seven years have passed since she graduated from the popular idol group "AKB48". In response to the interview in this paper, Akimoto revealed what she felt while shooting overseas, exchanges with the members of the AKB era, and her thoughts on the group.

    -The role of a CIA aiming for Beckett parents and children, a Russian mercenary, a yakuza trained assassin. How do you feel about your Hollywood debut?

    　There was a fan who told me when I was in the group, "Please come out to Hollywood someday" and said, "I wish I could do it." I'm happy. I am very happy that I could fulfill the dreams of the people who supported me again.

    ――Challenge intense action like a ninja. What was different from shooting in Japan?

    　I am always asked for my opinion. "What kind of image do you have and how are you trying to act?" and the script also says, "I don't want to do this, do you have any opinions about how interesting this is?" I have no overseas career, but I'm the same artist, so I was very comfortable at the scene where we could create together with no ups and downs. However, it is difficult to convey detailed nuances in English through an interpreter. I thought I had to study English again in order to express it in my own words.

    Sayaka Akimoto made her Hollywood debut seven years after graduating from AKB48.

    ――Did you want to be an actress since you entered AKB48?

    Since I was a child, I loved reading books and playing in the play. I was a child who was playing alone, thinking about what kind of character this person is talking about and what kind of way this person speaks when he entered the world of books (laughs). When I was doing something, I forgot myself and the time was so much fun. I also liked singing and dancing, but I was longing for expressions that went beyond the boundaries of songs.
