Takajo Aki (Akicha) / 6th Generation

Happy 29th birthday Akicha.
(I know it's not October 3rd all over the world yet, but it is so in Japan.)

 

It's always great when the ''grad moms'' are comfortable enough with their babies, their lives and themselves to show off their little ones to the rest of us. It gives us the feeling that we are still connected with our oshi even when their performing days are well in the rear-view mirror.

 

Akicha is back in work, advertisement shoot.

When we do get the occasional glimpse of how and where some of the grads are living, it always seems very spacious, almost luxurious. Mariko's house and Akicha's home seem very very nice indeed (based on what little we get to see on YouTube, anyway.).

 

Last Saturday Akicha celebrated her son's 1st Birthday. No name yet.

Love Akicha with the glasses but we all love Akicha without the glasses, as well. Happy birthday to her little one. In the days before Covid, comedian Jerry Seinfeld did great routine about how much in common your first birthday party has with your last birthday party. In both situations you find yourself sitting at a big table surrounded by people that are supposedly your friends even though you don't recognize any of them while someone whose identity you're not real sure of helps you blow out the candles, feeds you the cake and sings some dumb song to you.
