I was watching that showroom at the same time as the prelims and the entire thing was great. She was constantly talking with people in chat and thanking everyone for being there, plus she hit 20000 viewership (i'm assuming the red bar with numbers is her viewers, I don't use showroom that much). With some girls it feels kinda artificial like they do it just because, but she came across very genuine from the little Japanese I know.

 

Apparently she will be in the new MG drama... probably a small role but it's good she's getting a drama role already

She is very clearly standing out from her generation mates.

 

I just watched Moeka's performance and something about it is a bit..off? I can see that she is trying her best but her stiffness is a bit awkward lol. It reminds me a lot of Yuihan. I don't see center aura in her to be honest :/ Cute? Sure but something about her just doesn't scream to me in my opinion.

 

Oh don't worry she's just too fresh and inexperienced
I don't want to be too confident but you'll see her growth in a while I believe

(the next part is about how she feels sad because her older sister Yukina didn't rank and how she was excited everytime SKE's K2 was called, and she talked about how her sister is perfect and stuff. She's so cute. She apparently said to fans who asked her: "Can I vote mostly on Yukina next year?"; "Of course! Please vote for her rather than someone like me!" but she says she really wants to rank too! >w<. All in all; I love Yahagi Moeka.)

 

That's one thing I can't stand... it's one thing to tell a member, the day after ssk, that "hey I'll just vote for someone else next year k?" (sure it's her sister, but it's still the same once she is participating), but it's another to reply "yeah no problem go ahead." You can't rank if you turn votes away yourself. It makes it seem like she doesn't care.

 

It would look bad if she told people not to vote for her sister.

Anyway, it's only her first try and it's hard to build the dedicated fandom to get the 14+k votes to rank these days. Her and Zukki will be the young members bursting through in a bigger way next year, count on it.
