She finished shooting something for 4 days and only her,looks like somewhere at Puncak(?),not sure...

Please not one of the 'dangdut' performances...

Though her dangdut dance is so very good, the singing is still way below acceptance level for average Indonesian dangdut fans.
(Me am not problem for that though since it's totally understandable that she has been singing in kawai voice).

Any how, for her to has a solo-shot is good news...

it would not be long, that she will be contract by nescafe indonesia, since she sing this song Kopi Dangdut Nescafe

 

Is she already sign a contract with Nescafe? I heard that she change "kopi dangdut" part with "kopi nescafe" in video above.
Also, abit of trivia, kopi dangdut is actually an International song. In japan this song is called coffee rumba.

 

I think it's between Nescafe and JOT since Nescafe is one of the sponsors in Kibouteki handshake event.
Also, I think coffee rumba is coming from the MC at Indonesia fest in Roppongi who tried to translate Kopi Dangdut.

According to official JKT48 tweet, JKT48 will appear on a TV program called "Indonesia Banget" on 5 & 12 Sept 10.00 Jakarta time on RTV. As far as i know, this program is usually visiting tourism spot and is hosted by foreigners living in Indonesia. Knowing that Chika chan went to Puncak alone for a filming, I predict that Chika chan will host the show or come as the guest star.

 

Hi so I've been curious about this, maybe someone may know how to answer me this. Why has Chikarina been doing lots of these songs lately? I mean why her? Not get me wrong, what I'm curious about is why they've chosen her over anyone else in JKT they know, is it because of her voice, charisma, because she was the one that applied for it, what?
Anyway I do like the fact she had the oportunity to do these performances, and she sounds pretty good on the last vid you guys posted (where she sings about nescafe).

Chikano always position herself as someone that eager to learn about Indonesian culture and dangdut is one of the thing that she wants to learn. Maybe she want to copy Gon-chan success in winning local fans sympathy.

Since Indonesia is very conservative nation. There is no gravure or sexy photoshot like she usually do in Japan. Her sexy and mature aura is kinda hard to advance in Indonesia. This is also apply in Naomi's case since Naomi is kinda stuck with her sexy image. Dangdut will at least save them both because in Dangdut you can being sexy without accused as inappropriate.
