To be honest the first time i read about her was in Sayaka blog so i'm still new to her .


She's part of the KKS janken prelims winners.

That's all i know about her for the moment.

 

Seems that she's quite the dancer! Apparently she's been dancing from when she was a small kid. In her video she shows her own alternative dance for Melon Juice.

The silly pants seem to be part of her dancing lesson outfit.

 

Kusaba Manami was not promoted in the Oita shuffle and will remain as kenkyuusei. Here is her post about it:

今まで一緒に頑張ってきた研究生のみんなもたくさん昇格していきました。
Many of the kenkyuuseis who had worked hard with me until now were promoted.

でも、私は昇格することが出来なかったです。
However, I couldn't get promoted.

私にはまだまだ足りないものがたくさんあります。
だからもう少し研究生でいろんな経験をしろと言うことだと思います。
I still lack in many things. So I think it is best that I remain kenkyuusei for a little longer and go through more experiences.

みんなが新しい環境で頑張ろうとしてるから、私も研究生を引っ張っていけるように頑張ります。
Everyone will do their best in their new environments, so I will also do my best so that I can lead the kenkyuuseis.

いつ、花が開くかわからないけど花開くときまで、私のことを応援していただけますか？
I don't know when I will bloom, but will you support me until it happens?

みなさんに嬉しい報告を出来るように私も毎日頑張ります。

Manamin was promoted to Team KIV! I'm very happy for this totally deserved promotion. She's one of the best dancers in the group, and since the HKT shuffle she changed her behavior a lot in a short time. She was more focused on getting the attention of the audience and in setting herself apart from the other girls. I hope that she can keep that motivation in her new team.

Manamin promotion to KIV is the absolute best news of the whole shuffle thing!!

After the long awaited promotion, 2014 has brought another great news for Manamin.

She has graduated from High school and starting this spring she will be attending University [party]

At the Daisokaku, when Manamin was promoted, the hostess misread her name as "Kusaba Ai". Since then she's been writing her full name in kana on every G+ post she makes. Looks like she was quite pissed at that...

i counfond her a lot with ito raira...it must be the haircut.

Unfortunately even show like odekake don't help her to be noticed, but i'm sure the Kyushu tour as been very positive for every members in her situation. (not TV exposure, but units in Kyushu tour)

 

Manami had her seitansai today, and Naopon wrote the letter for her! (I will translate it once I get it)

Manamin was apparently seen together with a boy. Not sure if this would cause a uproar considering her popularity and how management just ignores scandals these days.

 

Well, judging from previous cases, Sasshi is probably going to get worse flak for being a "bad example" and "corrupting HKT" than Manamin will, anyway.

 

Funny how people found the time to post about an unpopular girl only when something bad happens to her...

@Ryo Funny how you're also here for the first time in a year, no? Just kidding.

I think it might or might not be her. If you imagine how she'd look with her hair straightened out, there's a resemblance. But I'm not the one to judge. She's an adult, she makes her own choices.

 

Manamin will graduate to focus on her studies in April.

 

Just last week a few of us were talking about how much she changed and improved... Stages won't be the same without her. I hope college is the real reason and not that the fact that she was sharing a table in a restaurant with a man...
