Yagami Kumi (Kuumin) / 1st Generation

I was never a huge Kuumin fan, but I hope she can find something better to do than this...
Being a race queen/event companion is pretty looked down on over there. So her fans reactions in Japan have been really shocked and disappointed that she's doing this. It is pretty crazy how different the foreign fans and Japanese fans reacted to this though lol

 

They're mad?Seriously,they should learn how to breath!They don't know if it's temporary or not!Even that,aren't they happy to see how she's been doing?Also it could be worse because I've heard that there's some graduated members that became porn actresses!

 

Oh, I didn't mean it like that like they were angry or anything, but more like "wow, this really sucks" or that kind of job was below her, so they were shocked/disappointed she would be doing it. Obviously it's definitely not porn, but its pretty much looked at in the same vein as a job in a kyabakura

 

I see!But still,I can understand them in way though she's doing something with her life!Maybe she was tired of the vibe of the Idol life or music/acting industry and wanted to try slightly different!Acquiring new experiences or having angle!I don't even know what I'm talking about!

 

While I am always happy to see Kuumin, I feel the same as her Japanese fans seeing her modeling at a car show. The term is underemployed. She is qualified for a much better job.

But hey, at least she is making money. And is as beautiful as ever.

 

I thought she just want to feel a life outside the entertainment industry? Although she is suited with the entertainment industry.. but then again, I know nothing

Nevertheless, I hope they talk about her graduation and post-graduation life in the SKE48 documentary because interviewing her without talking about those things would be a disappointment

 

Underemployed? First, we know nothing about her contract.
Second, it's a hostess job like one can meet in every exhibition, ans she said she wanted to work in kind of public relation jobs.
She probably doesn't have any sort of diploma and can't have an executive job.

If she doesn't want to return to entertainment (at least, for the moment), she can't be an actress (she already said she doesn't want), a model, a comedian, or a TV announcer.
There are not many jobs you can do with no diploma, especially in Japan, aside part time jobs.

And maybe she just earns money when studying to get a diploma, like many students.
Near the end of her career, she definitively expressed interest in studying.

So, to the fans who feel upset : just offer her a better job!

 

If she could return to ske. That's good. She could still have 5 years!!
