SKE48's Kataoka Narumi (Narupi) has announced her graduation, her last activity will be on April 2nd.

I'm pretty sad to see her leaving, she's part of the 7D2-Gen which is my favorite, she'll leave before they can get their own song, and she was always a stable at the theater.
Now SKE has to find a new member who can scramble to under in a theater-stage on any position within 30min before the perf starts...

For Natsumikan, she has big career in HKT at her own pace but for Narumi, it's so early...

the ages of the ones left at the top are concerning as you say, a lot of them will graduate soonish.
I've never personally "got" Yuiyui tbh but now I can see why she's been so heavily pushed over the last couple of years.

 

Oh, Mio, I'm sad to see her leaving, also it's because of her knee injury...
I was sure she will graduate one day from this, she has never recovered in almost 2 years she suffers from it...

I think it's roughly in the 40's or 50's usually for a year? I could be totally wrong.

Older members like Miichan are deciding to graduate. A lot from STU48 have graduated and they have not been a group for that long. There's the NGT scandal that could have members change their mind about being an idol and wanting to graduate. It could be a member's time to graduate and try something new.
Lots of reasons. But I wonder if there's been another year that has had 70+ total graduations/graduation announcements.

I really dread to think - based on the numbers - how many graduations we're going to see next year.

 

I think the more years pass and the more there are old gens in each group, and the groups increase, new generations joining, etc. it makes sense to me why there are more graduations every year but it's true that this year we saw a lot of graduations. But it was a difficult year too, with scandals, AKB losing a lot of their programs, not to forget a lot of the graduations of girls who were in Produce (they probably took Produce at their last chance/interest in being idol and when they didn't get in, they decided to move on to something else).

I feel like next year won't have as many graduations as 2019 but I also don't see it going down that much so maybe there will still be more graduations than for example in 2018.

 

Well... N64 Graduated only 4 then 2018 graduadet at only 1gen at 8... but...
2018-2019 at Akb48+ Nogiz46 i get about 130 ...
And there are also lot names... Himetan at N64...

I don´t know is that really there, but how long contrach Ikuchan have? Or?

 

Considering they've added two new sister groups since 2014 and HKT didn't have a debut single until 2013, I think it's pretty reasonable that the number is a little over double since then. I do hope next year is a dip in the numbers though, obviously. I fear current management and the Olympics aren't going to be conducive to 2020 being a stable, productive year but maybe 2021 will be the big turnaround.

From overseas JKT48, 1st gen JKT48 Captain/Team KIII member Beby Chaesara Anadila announced graduation on December 22nd.


And SKE kenkyuusei Seya Moka resigned from the group sometime in December. I don't think it's been mentioned yet.
