^ which is just freaking stupid how they did their SSK .
I saw MNL SSK thread and seems like the management got inspired by Produce 101
more like the hunger games
Aaaaand it's official..
Such a huge mass graduation
I guess management decided that they just had too many members for the profit it generated and axed every position below 48(?), 46(?), in retrospect they probably should have started with fewer members and added members when it became successful.
btw... basing your selection on SSK results is stupid imho, some pretty well known AKB members never ranked or ranked really really low, but still were a pretty good addition to the mix.
Tanikawa Hijiri (Team 8 Akita representative) announced the graduation on her seitansai stage.
one of my favorite eitos
Same. This is another upsetting one.

SKE48 kekyusei Oba Sayaka leaves this 05/13
Can't conciliate idol activities and studies.
HKT48 Team H member Komada Hiroka (Piichan) announced graduation today:
Last activity will be the RESET stage on 6/17. In the HKT blog entry she's saying she'll become an illustrator and website designer.
It was getting to quiet for the grads in HKT!It's not like they were known to have many graduations but all of the groups had upcoming graduations!
Team KIV Iwahana Shino anounced her graduation.
Apparently she wants to work in cosmetic and beauty domain.
Last performance: 06/21
Another HKT 2nd gen gone but 1st gens keep on truckin
Goto Moe to graduate, she wants to pursue a model career
Last handshake: 19/08/11
I love how specific the recent graduating members have been about their post-idol goals. Hearing they want to study is nice, but knowing exactly what field they want to go into makes it more of a celebration for me lol
I feel like Moe didn't get a chance to shine in AKB as a new face which is a damn shame, so i hope i see a lot of her in magazines!
Well, she got an initial push when she was a Kenkyuusei and fresh member in 2014, being featured rather prominently in "Documentary of AKB: The Time has Come"
I had kind of expected this tbh. She was dropped completely from Jiwaru Days, and was barely anywhere in Request Hour. Better to leave now and find something else to do than stay and languish for another 5 years.
D1 really haven't done well in AKB. They have been here 5 and a half years now - promoted at the same time as 15th gen, and here longer than T8. Kayoyon and Hinana have literally never appeared in a B side outside of team songs, and Sayaya had some initial hype around Kibouteki time but that seems to be long gone now. Moekyun was consistently back row of B sides, and in Jiwaru Days not even that. I hope she does well with modelling.
Iso Kanae of NMB48 Team N has just announced graduation. She hasn't yet decided on her final activity date.
EDIT: Looks like she's going to become an ambassador for the INAC Kobe football team.
Oh they gave her so many chances lol
