If we keep going like this the graduated member sections will soon have more threads than any others on the forums.

i want to ask. for the past 6 months there have been around 40 members announcing graduate and some has graduated. In year 2019, is the most graduated or previous years?

This is how I feel about Ryoha. I felt it coming. But to see it is another story. I truly thought she had more years to come with her age. (And as someone else mentioned, her captainacy. I wonder who will take up the mantle.)

i wonder if ryoha left because she wasn't chosen for senbatsu,or she wasn't chosen because of health issues

You could just as easily ask if she not chosen for senbatsu because management already knew she was announcing she was leaving. The cause and effect works both ways ...

There are more graduations this year but there's also probably more members in 48G than previous years (and more groups), so it makes sense. But yes it's true that there's a lot of graduations lately. Hopefully management won't add new girls to each group to make up for the grads... I think there's more than enough girls in 48G right now, they should try to focus on giving good promo to the current members.

Right. Don't count the number of graduates only, look at the percent too.

There are a lot more thanks to overseas groups but I don't think the native 48G grew much in 2018.

On the other hand though, the group is a lot older than it used to be. Obviously it's exactly a year older as a group but I'm talking about average ages.

    Lololol.

The number of graduation announcement for domestic 48G in first half of 2019 is roughly equal to whole-year of 2016, 2017 and 2018. Are you saying that the member number of domestic 48G double during that period?

How about the rate of graduation VS the rate of audition? Looking at the number of members right now is it too low? perfect as it is? or too bloated? How about how long the members should stay in the group before graduating? I think for typical member, 5-7 years is good enough.

If we talk about number of member, I don't know about other groups, but for AKB48 we are having hard time running team stage when senbatsu members are not available, again, even counting in kenkyuusei. If we exclude the 8 kenin, we are now to 11-13 promoted member per teams. It is not as bad as like 7 members before the last (2017) shuffle, but it's bad nonetheless.

it's interesting how many of the graduates who were forbidden to do SNS are immediately there after they graduate (sometimes even before lol)

Is the SNS policy too strict for 2019? Are girls nowadays too dependent on it? Is it nothing more than wanting to have some communication channel with your fans even after your grad?
