    Could an explanation of this uptick be the ages of the girls involved? Like the spread of more girls around the college age/adult age?

    I think the percentage of girls in particular generation to graduate within particular year after debut is better parameter.

    I will miss Takayanagi Akane like crazy, but the timing is not only appropriate it is also long overdue. She has done more than enough and we've been able to enjoy her more than long enough. I wish her all the best in the next chapter of her life. Waiting on Minegishi Minami and Kashiwagi Yuki now.

    Why do people really want Miichan and Yukirin to graduate so badly? Like it makes no sense. People whine about all the old gen not with AKB anymore, but then at the same time they want the old gens to leave? It's not like them being in the group is bad, if they want to leave they will leave on their own terms. I don't understand some fans.

    Edit: I am speaking in general, not targeted towards you.

    Like it or not, it's usually biased opinion.
    People don't mind Yukirin staying but they hate on Miichan. I don't mind them, though. Miichan isn't hogging senbatsu slot and Yukirin being in senbatsu is justified so yeah.

    I personally don't want miichan to graduate yet at least after she finish her final Task she will graduate without worry.

    I know its selfish but as the last first gen and one of the legendary members i want her involved in this new Era.
