So they updated the official profile pcitures, something tells me that we have another small senbatsu that's actually going to perform it (the 5 that have the original outfit)
Which would be: Kanna, Miho, Hitomi, Reina and Airi
Obviously this leaves: Nagisa, Miki, Yukki, Nanami and Saki
....orrrrrr maybe the picture distribution means nothing. I hope so. Yukki is both solid in singing and dancing and she's like the second popular member after Kanna. Sure, she's not the beauty Miho or Airi are, but her efforts got to count for something, no?
(Talking about Yukki, recent talk in Imamura Maria's thread comes to mind of Yukki being another example of a girl who was totally chibi up until about she turned 15 and hit a growth spurt)
^Oh, don't leave out Nagisa! My favourite member of the group.
The MV is out
is it me, or is this song really really bad?
Also.... obviously lower budget for this?
Honestly after the last single I wished they'd make a lighter themed song than... this.
It just completely missed any expectation I had for this.
Haha I think it just depends on your taste in music because I really like this song
I'm quite liking it as well. Guess they are looking for a more international market by throwing in more English (or is that Japanese cool?).
But my overwhelming thought watching it was "Has Kanna put on weight?". She doesn't seem as lean as she was.
the song is catchy but didnt really get a vampire feel from the MV
@LNK_Tomu didn't notice it tbh X___X; but now that you say it.... maybe?
@megawotaku as long as the sales are good, then it doesn't matter if I don't like it XD
(I don't like this gerne, and even for the genre this song doesn't seem to be executed that well by the staff that worked on it, imo)
I agree on the international market thing though, this song does seem to be aimed to be more widespread from its type than the previous releases.
(But I don't follow idols to listen to international type of songs, lol)
Hmm.. Kanna is nominated for the Newcomer's Award at the 40th Japan Academy Awards.
However, my bet winning the Newcomer's Award is Takahata Mitsuki as I think 2016 is her year with all the projects and headlines she's been into. Although, I haven't seen the film she's nominated for.
The group will disband on March 31. Sad times but Kanna is already 18 so what now?
I liked this group. This is pretty sad .
Many groups disbanding. That's sad.
I wonder if there is something going on.
^ idol boom is over... especially in rural areas.
Not good news, but not surprising - they've seemed too quiet for a while and they were always focused around Kanna, without general depth (at least to me).
Hope Nagisa will pop up somewhere, but guessing probably not.
The Internet seems to be more excited with the possibility of Kanna joining AKB48G, which is unlikely. She's already established.
^ If it was 4 years ago, I think it was possible, but not now.
It's even in AKB48 Times:
About the disbandment, we are in another stage of the Idol Sengoku Jidai. When older idol groups start disbanding, new ones will rise to take their place. While the era of Rev from DVL may be over, it will be the beginning of the era of the new idol group. Sure idol boom may be over, but there will be someone who will rise and start the boom again.
This is Idol Sengoku Jidai. Quick to spread, hard to end. To the point that it won't end - ever.
What will Kanna do now? Consider herself an actress at this point?
^with her portfolio atm? Yes, oh, yes, she will do exactly that.
Maybe Activehakata will form a new idol group without Kanna, that will be indie?
Tbh, this is sad .___."
What?!! just heard the news... so sad indeed.. I like some of their song.. It felt like it was yesterday that I first listen to them..
But I always have a feeling that the group will disband once Kanna made the decision to leave.. the group always focus on her that we don't see much of the other girls..
Kanna will most likely became a full-fledged actress.. I'm 100% sure she wont be in AKB.. haha.. if she did, I can imagine the backlash she will receive.. haha
Yeah I agree that Idolboom is over.. but it will become like a stable era.. idols will always be in the market..
Japanese netizens are excited and actually want her in AKB lol...you know what to do fat autumn >__>
