And also, I don't see your problem with distribution. Oh during the dance formation sure, it focuses on Kanna, who's center, but all the other shots? I think I saw more of the other members than her.

Btw I wasn't judging the distribution it's the right call since her popularity seems stellar compared to the rest.

Why do they release their debut single with 6 types though? What's the B-side bonus content to make it attractive to buy several types?

As for Kanna's popularity, She's literary the only one who got noticed, and I'm pretty sure she's the reason they have a major debut right now. The only way you can push the group, aka the rest of the members, is if you push Kanna.
Some label got interested enough in her and offered them the opportunity and they took it... moneys and stuff for the agency, chances for the girls...

When I get around it I will post popularity statistics of their twitter followers (with kanna as the obvious leader, but it'd be interesting to see rest in comparison, from what I saw Yukina is in the not very popular section though XD)

Yukina joined later, that I know. When I first checked their website she wasn't a member yet. I wonder since when her and Kanna had been under this agency? Seen how Kanna had CM and acting jobs before this, probably for while. Also if you look at the agency's site the youngest kid there has a birth year of 2009 ^^;

Wow. This thread has gotten quite a bit more active since I opened it.

I now the first 2 tracks are oldies, but what apart the no. 3 tracks? I'd like to see new songs as well.

It doesn't seem to bad to me, not much of a bigger share than Acchan got earlier on so its fine. I've seen her stand in the center in promotional material from before the whole once-in-a-thousand-year-idol thing anyway, so it was probably always gonna be like this.

 

I couldn't resist and I finally bought the type B single (that's the cover I like the most xP the digital single covers are nice too!) If you buy from CDJapan they have a photo as a bonus, they still have a lot of copies.

It seems that the DVD have the PV + making and introduction of members, 6 members for each type (at least I think what's google translator was trying to tell me lol)

I've been keeping an eye on Rev since Jan 2013 when I saw a couple of members (Kanna was one) MCing a group idol event. I think It was Idol Yokocho Matsuri.

The song in the video on post #28 is the one I knew most and it was included on the following compilation CD: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/TECI-1343 (愛しい剣) {ITOSHII TSURUGI}

I finally got a chance to see them perform live in Canal City Hakata on 30th March when I was in Fukuoka, I went as I wanted to see Kanna and the group in general. While Kanna was great and had a certain presence and obviously a large following, the member who stood out must to me was the cute twin tails girl in moonlit's picture (Hashimoto Yukina).

She had so much energy as was really super cute. So if you are looking into rev, please do give other members a chance and don't just follow Kanna because of the hype.

I'm glad for Yukina. There was a time when the official homepage was a bit messy, but then Yukina first stuck out to me because she had the same last name as Kanna, with the new blog and pictures available, I could see more of her and she really did stick out to me the most. Sadly she's also the member that seems to get the least screen time so far(and stands in the backrow while dancing, she usually ends in the front for the final formation though), but she got a funny part in HeyHeyHey special.
She's the most adorable girl ever >w< so tiny~~~

My expectation is that as this group grows, discussion will be about the rest of the group as well as Kanna, so I'm thinking of renaming the thread and changing the first post to fit this. I doubt there will be any, but, any objections?

 

I got one here, why not make another thread for Rev. from DVL instead of renaming this thread since most of the initial content has emphasis on Kanna it will confuse the new readers.
