Both Hina and Karin are amazing ladies. Each of them has different idea of where they want to be in Nogizaka, but I can totally see they have the very same essence of passion. It might have been hard for Hina who have stayed in Nogizaka since its founding years, and she never let go of her goal to be in senbatsu. For her to be able to say it upright is admirable. Like what she said, she really doesn't tell lies at all. As a reader, her answers to the interview are at times bitter to swallow; but it is the reality of Unders and they are living with it.

And sorry to talk about Karin in Hina's thread. I have started to admire her after seeing her lots of times with Kotoko, and from then on I was mesmerised by her very own existence. She has a really good personality, extremely reliable, skilled in various aspects; totally a person I look up to (and I would love to be friends with her). It's eye-opening for me to know that she isn't interested being in senbatsu at all. Her words that say Under Lives are her purpose of life is astounding. It made me realise that being the top might not always be the best goal for you. Knowing that she entered Nogizaka when she was already relatively matured, I think she has a clear image of what she wants to achieve in and through Nogizaka; which I believe for her to be more of a TV announcer rather than an idol.

 

I always knew Hina-chima was pretty but holy sheesh that photo took my breath away..

I have a question for those who read the translations. Up to now, I always mix the Japanese with the English. But sometimes I wonder if it gets in the way of readability.
Especially in the Tumblr app, which adds all sorts of enters there shouldn't be and it looks messy. Therefore I am thinking to post just the English from now on, but I was wondering what you prefer.

 

I vote for keeping the japanese since i'm still learning it
I don't use tumbler app though so i don't really know how messy it gets
