hinata is lucky to has very pretty model like, mainstream appeal as centre. come on..compare to miss T and miss I from sister group, it already obvious why she is chosen. it is good for your eyes especially when you need to repeat watching the music video!!

 

Mate, you're taking this way too far. I don't see anybody being toxic here. Nobody has anything against Nao herself, it's management we're mad at. We have a lot of wonderful girls in the group and we want to see them shine.

Please keep your imagination in check.

Edit: and if you think ‘she doesn't stand out’ is being toxic, obviously you haven't been around when Acchan or Paruru were getting their push or… don't even need to go that far, go see what people think of Moeka in the AKB threads.

1. No one here has compared Nao to Techi. Like literally, NO ONE. Except you.

2. We’re all Hinata fans here. All we’re saying is that it’d be nice to see a new face for center since there are other girls with enormous potential that management hasn’t been capitalizing on. And like, most of us literally said that we’d still root for Nao and hope she can wow us in the future. If you think that is “toxicity and negativity”, then you need to get out in the real world some more. Seriously. You’re being way too sensitive.

3. I lol-ed at your last statement. I encounter some of the most bitter, jealous haters on Stage48 like on a daily basis. The criticism, if any, at Nao right now is NOTHING compared to the absolute hate and vitriol being thrown/were thrown towards Jurina/Techi/Ikoma/Paruru/etc. If you want to police crude fandom behavior, then go do that in other groups’ threads, NOT here in Hinatazaka’s where things are as drama-free as it can get. I'm not being sensitive, the anti-Nao brigade has been going on since before Kyun. I'm just tired of hearing it. And I'm not the first person in this thread to say something.
I just state my opinion and two people jump on me like as if I called them out specifically. Maybe you're the one being sensitive?

 

No, I’m not. And here you go again with the ‘anti-Nao brigade’ nonsense. I’ve followed Hinata through Hiaragana singles, Kyun, Doremi, and now this third Hinata single, and there is no anti-Nao brigade. Maybe there is in Japan, I don’t know, (if so, then it needs to die) but people, specifically Hinata fans, expressing a view other than “Go Nao! Yeah you keep rocking that center, girl!” is NOT hating. You being unable to handle even the most gentle criticism toward your idol doesn’t give you the right to go ahead and preach “the end of toxicity and negavitity!1!1”, especially when it doesn’t exist. It just makes you look silly.


Trust me, when someone actually disses Nao, like calls her ugly or a sucky performer, then we can all jump on them together. But there’s none of that here on this forum right now, so quit trying to police our opinions.

Hinatazaka probably has the most unitedly positive fanbase of the Sakamichi groups, so this anti-Nao brigade talk (bloody hell) is completely bizarre. I haven't seen any toxicity towards Nao - or any other member of Hinata for that matter - on here, or anywhere else. I don't think there's anyone in the group - including Nao - who isn't universally liked if not loved.

I have seen people - myself included - express that they haven't been wowed by Nao, prefer other members and would like to have seen a new centre for this or the next single. . . but that's not being toxic or anti-Nao, that's expressing an opinion. Which. . . people are allowed to do. Everyone here loves the group and the Hinatazaka threads have been pretty much drama free, especially compared to recent AKB/NGT subjects. . .

I mean if you want to see toxicity and an idol being mean-spiritedly anti'd, go read the AKB Sustainable thread.

 

Might I add that thirsting over a whole 16 year old (she is still 16 right?) is not only illegally wrong but just in every way downright disgusting. Nao is still a child.

Totally different from the last two singles, I love it! Definitely getting some hiragana vibes.

 

I really like it, a bit reminds me of Kimi ni Hanashite Okitai Koto which I love it too.
So it's true, they took a different route from the previous single (or back to Hiragana route?), but it's still a love-themed song (special Autumn-Winter). Although with a ballad song like this, I still feel the happy aura, even I imagine they can smile sweetly on stage to perform this song. Katoshi and Kyoko's voices start from the first verse dominantly, Nao too, something that I really proud of. Hopefully, with this, everyone realizes that they have serious skills, not just ear/eye-catching performance.

I thought it would be cooler and catchier if the song was titled "Infinity", but it would diminish the impression of love-theme in this song.
And what is a good abbreviation for the title? Konnachatte? (こんなちゃって？).


From the usual blue-pink-white, now using brown tones. Looks like this is the setting for the MV. Can't wait for it.

Yeah, really good song, I like it immediately - very different from Doremi and Kyun, and definitely back to more of a Hiragana sound - particularly in the production/mixing -which is GREAT.

Wow, so much better than the previous singles! I really like it, I agree that it has a Hiragana vibe. But also what's up with all of their singles so far being around 5 minutes long? Not that it's a bad thing, it seems like the formula so far is basically to have a long chorus.
