oh wow I didn't think 4 girls from 2nd gen would be that popular so fast out of the Hiragana girls. Well looks like i gotta learn more about that cause 1st gen is pretty great as is tbh. I actually hope they give 2nd gen their own drama like 1st gen got from Re:Mind (I actually really enjoyed it ok lol)

edit: oh wait Miho was in that drama lolol. But I didn't really care for her all too much lol.

 

Re:Wind looked promising to me so I'd rather they all do one together. Maybe if the Re:Mind DVDs sell well enough they will.

 

@Konno A. I'm not sure actually. I think it's mostly between Kosaka and Watanabe Miho.

Senkou Hanabi is one of my favourite songs, but Kyonko's solo and one of the 1st Gen songs trump it though lol

Considering Kanji members were not included in this album (losing 21 members with 30 slots is a lot), this is an incredible number for first week album sales. I'm so happy the gana's were given this opportunity. While I'm still not comfortable with them being a completely separate group under the same name of Keyakizaka, I fully believe now that the Hiragana members are able to hold their own on their own singles.

Maybe Double A sides from this point on? or Mixed senbatsu for singles with separate group albums? As long as they all get the same treatment from here on out, i'm happy.

 

This is plausibly a double A-side. But it may just feel that way be because they are treated more equally in the promotion so far. I hope they get to release their own CD soon.

I didn't want gana to do the 7th because it means they probably won't have enough time this year to promote their own single. I was hoping Sony could use their power to sneak them into Music Station or even Kouhaku this year. Now, it looks like they have to wait till next year. I'm very happy with the promotion this time around though.

Memi kept repeating in her recent Showroom that she liked all the songs on the album. It was hard to get her to favour one or the other, except that her favorite is Oide, possibly for its audience interaction value. In any case, I'm coming to agree. There are some songs I like better, but there isn't a song on the album that I don't like. Good work by Sony, Aki-P, and all the Gana-chans.

What a talented group, top to bottom. Mao-chan is showing her comic chops now, and Mei-chan is revealing herself as a talented dancer, an interesting singer, and a wonderfully weird character.
