the senbatsu debate for lead song should be interesting

 

there's only 20 of them. they all will be in the lead song. this also kinda confirms that keya's new single will only feature kanji.

 

even with the different generations you think they'll have every member in senbatsu like kanji?

 

I tend to agree with @UrFavAsianGuy
all of them in senbatsu for the lead song and various units/gens for the others.
And since Hiragana was part of Keyaki album I don't see why Kanji couldn't have a song in Hiragana's too.. perhpas a W-Keyaki.

I'm more curious about the center since Kyoko is good (I found some coldness in her at first that prevented me from fully appreciate her, but little by little that went away.. still a work in process though) but some of the others aren't far behind in term of push, appreciation and skills, so... we'll see.

What I really want is for the less appreciate members to shine too. Perhaps Budokan concert already changed some fan's perspective, but a little push here and there wouldn't hurt lol

 

wasn't expecting this but i'm very excited since i was hoping the 6th single would have all hiraganas in senbatsu but that's not happening lol

 

Best of both worlds IMO. I was hoping Hiragana would get solo releases. Both groups are great as they are, breaking them up would only dilute what they are both trying to accomplish. The only problem was Hiraganas lack of content I guess is the best word to use. But that's been remedied the past few months.

 

I am happy for them, and this finally cements in that both, kanji and gana, are groups in their own rights.

 

This is a big step, but the real step would be a single. This will give them enough songs to be a touring group. But Kanji may remain the singles group. For a while. I think the 1gens are outstanding and the 2gens start with even more talent and beauty. So I don't think this group can be kept down. I really want to see the two halves of Hiragana not kept separate, but it will take a bit of time for the 1gen or 2gen members who feel insecure to settle into it...and for those of us who love the 1gens to feel okay about others stepping ahead of some of them.

In her blog post today, Kanemura Miku says that the 2gens watching the announcement of the album on monitors backstage also all burst into tears. Nogi gave Kanji a boost. Kanji gave the 1gens a boost. And the 1gens have given the 2gens a boost, so their time from joining to performiing at Budoukan and getting an album has been extremely short.

I do expect a Hiragana song on the next Kanji single. Probably Ima ni Miteiro, which is a bit of a declaration of independence.

 

Thank god for a Hiragana-only release! At least they're finally establishing their own image, and drifting away from their somehow sister group Kanji lol.
Worried about the girls though, hope they get rest. Budoukan, then rehearsals for the album songs, that must be tiring.

It would be fun to see 1st gen-2nd gen units! I want to see Paripi with Kageyuka, imagine the disaster lmao.

 

what if from next single the mix the senbatsu with both kanji and hiragana members but they both put out individual albums every year

 

Wishing for a great content in this release.
In fact, I'll put it further as how many original song they will have is a measurement of how much attention Akipig has on them compared to any group he already had, not just Kanji.

Low expectation for sure. But, it leave minor room for disappointment.
