Hello everyone I am Kotone Hitomi from AKB48 Team 8 holding concurrent post in Team A. I was not able to rank in last year and shed regretful tears so this year’s general election I will do my best on ranking in and shed tears of joy with the fans. So now will write one Kanji word. It was tough when Chukoku and Shikoku members that I had gotten along well with graduated. In the span of one year, Tani Yuri-chan, Hamamatsu Riona-chan, Abe Mei-chan, and Hirose Natsuki-chan all graduated from Eight. During the last stage performances of the graduating members, I would always cry a lot. Especially, during the last stage performance of Tani, who I’m good friends with, I cried the most.

We’re all around the same age, so we’re starting to think about our own future, so I understand why they decided to graduate. I’ve also been thinking about my future. My dream is to become a model, but in order for all the members of Team 8 to become known, I want to do my best alongside everyone.

Last December, I went as part of twelve Eight members to the Philippines, which became an important memory for me. Even the pickup at the airport it was amazing. There were people cheering with uchiwas. During the event, even during MCs, the cheers and encouragement kept going, it was a completely different passion from in Japan. I want to steadily get more work overseas.

During the shuffle, I became a kennin member with Team A. I was a huge fan of Maeda Atsuko-san, so I’m very happy. I’ll showcase my own charm so that I’m not buried behind my senpais. I also don’t want to lose to the 16th generation or the third draft members.

She's definitely not the best dancer in the team but I like her performances. Its slow and sensual.

And yeah, her fashion sense is weird.
