Generation HKT48 6th Generation

HKT48 announced on 26th November 2021 that they will hold auditions for their 6th generation! The applications were from 10th December 2021 to 10th January 2022 (one month of applications). The candidates had to be between the ages of 10 to 22 years old as of 2nd April 2021.

At the beginning of the video, it shows some footage of previous auditions, then the girls shown are Ishibashi Ibuki, Unjo Hirona, Tanaka Miku, Tashima Meru and then who? Can't point out who the last one is wearing the no. 36 tag.

So either way, lessgooo HKT, make this a grand reveal and show us some amazing picks for 6th gen plehzeh.

And yeah 6th gen needs to up to pair with the rest of them. 5th gen was probably the weakest one, so I hope for a better one this time

 

There was a TV report yesterday about the auditions of HKT's 6th gen! it's 12 minutes long and they show some of the candidates during their auditions, asking them questions, and they even visit the home of a candidate (she's a big fan of Hana lol). I wonder if any of the girls that we see here is going to make it to 6th gen >.< it's nice that we get to see this.

I hope this gen can be good, I think 5th gen was pretty good but they already lost the initial pushes (Kaede ;_; and Rimika) and also lost the member with potential very fast (Kudoharu), hopefully 6th gen can have better luck, good members and good promotions (and not stay KKS for so many years like 5th gen :/).

There are 34 candidates who passed 3rd round of 6th gen audition. They will have a training camp from 29th to 31th this month. The results will come out on 31th.

No.12 is a 10 year-old girl. She is so small.
No.8 is the oldest. She is 21 years old.

 

Oh! No.2 is a former LYRA member. She is very cute! I'm rooting for her!

Why are two candidates having letters instead of numbers?
My favorite and I hope she makes/made it is letter "a" (Yoshida Mirai). Her ,,Hey mina-san" in combination with voice and the character was just so likeable.
Does anybody know if the list is already out with those who made it?

 

Because they didn't have the number on their upper clothes, so we don't know the number.
2 other girls who has joined in the training camp after passing the revival round. So we have total 36 candidates.
Right now the camp has ended but the result doesn't come out yet.

All readings are approximate since I haven't watched the audition program itself. Official readings may be different.
For example, 岡本姫奈 was listed here as Okamoto Himena until her name was revealed as Okamoto Hina in official photoset.

I watched the Self-PR videos of the 18 girls who made it, and my favorite for now is Morisaki Saaya (17), she looks pretty and there is something refreshing about her. ^^ The other one who got my attention is Ishimatsu Yuina (11), who was still 10 in the video, I don't think I can see her as idol for now, because she's literally a kid! She's so young and small, with messy braids hairstyle and that oversized suit lol and her bunny teeth >.< she was so confused ;_; (when her number tag fell lol) she is really a kid. I feel like protecting her like a mom XD



Some other girls seem nice too, 18 girls is a lot and it needs time to take all these informations x_x I would have preferred if they were 14 or so... anyway looking forward to their intro!

 

Wait what? All 18 girls are it hkt now? I thought there was some more selection…

 

They has passed 5 rounds of this audition. It has many rounds so we don't need another round.
After 3rd round, 36 girls went to training camp and 18 girls passed. And later all passed the final exam.
