She might want to hope Korea/Japan doesn't cop a Monsoon, she might end up in a tree

 

That's a bit of a distasteful joke... Even if she was 200 lbs, a monsoon would wash her away if she got caught in it.

I was concerned like the next person about her, but I believe she does eat healthily. If you receive her private mail, you'll see that she talks about food more than anything else. She posts pictures of her meals, which are sometimes yoghurts, but at other times it's kimchi or yukhoe or brownies or cakes. In a Q&A she did through the mail, one person asked "What do you do if you're really hungry but you're on a diet?" and her answer was "Just eat it! Don't starve yourself, you can add extra time to your workout tomorrow."

Also, looking back at Produce; if you watched Produce 101 season 1, you might remember they put Kang Mina on a diet. When they did the workout/exercise episode on Produce 48, their trainer (mentor Soyou) told them not to starve themselves but just keep fit with exercise because they need their energy from working out.

Hitomi is careful about what she eats not because of her diet but because she gets digestion issues a lot. She's mentioned loads of times in her mail that she gets severe stomach cramps after eating food with lots of garlic. If you've watched IZ*ONE CHU season 2, there was also a bit where Eunbi gave a personalised gift to every member and she gave Hitomi cabbage juice, and she later explained "it's because it helps with digestion and you get stomach cramps a lot."

For Nako's birthday, they all went out eating ice creams and cakes and Hitomi once again said, "I had so much cookie and oreo cheese cake~! It's my favourite"

Hitomi loves eating more than anyone, based on her private mail and the way she reacts when she sees food, but she obviously doesn't want to get stomach cramps every day so she pays attention to what she eats. And she seems to love working out and keeping fit. That is not a crime.

Just as much as telling a person they need to lose weight, telling someone they need to gain weight is offensive and insensitive. Hitomi received the third most views out of all the comeback showcase fancams, which shows she's gained popularity. She's written Merry-Go-Round in two languages and she's super proud of that. Instead of constantly talking about her weight, you could talk about the achievements she's made since becoming an idol.

 

If Naru can survive and come back from this condition, so does Hii
