Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2017

Thank you for pointing that out. I noticed that behavior on Firefox, which is my main browser, but when I tried in Chrome it let me expand the spoiler so I thought "eh". I changed it now though, because I forgot quotes on this forum truncate themselves ^^;

 

Hopes:
1. A single like UZA (dance heavy, cool song.)
2. No bikini single
3. New stage (not for the ssk)
4. New winner for ssk
5. No more kennin
6. AKS push the akb girls, not the kennin.
7. No more sister group (seriously, aks you better pay attention to ngt, ske, stu before making another new one)
8. Okada Nana and Yokoyama Yui get ranked into kami 7
9. Trainee promotion

Fears:
1. Sasshi, Mayu joins the ssk
2. Naachan announced her graduation
3. Scandal that will make bad reputation for AKB

Prediction:
1. Grand Shuffle
2. Mayu Yukirin graduation announced
3. A new sub-unit
4. Kojiharu center her graduation single

 

Hopes:
- Summer single to be back with bikini Sayaya can do oppai shake
- The summer single should be a song influenced by trap music, an EDM genre that has got popular last few years. The song would sound like this song ( A Grammy nominee), or this song, or this song.
- Sasshi wins sousenkyo again is not bad for me but I also think that the time to dethrone her will be next year.
- Mayuyu shouldn't graduate this year, maybe 2018 or 2019.
- If I could allow Yuihan when she can graduate, I'd allow her to graduate in 2018.
- Since I think Yuihan can graduate in 2018, no need another shuffle in 2017.
- Sayaya's sousenkyo rank raised to at least 24, 21 is better, senbatsu is much better. Mikurin at least still on NG, Ogiyuka for future girls!
- Concert in Jakarta again please, September or October would be the best time. I need to raise my bucks for sousenkyo. Send Sayaya & Naachan again, they're very popular here in Indonesia.
- Team 4 1st ever original stage, Sayaya has secured an unit song center, now she needs an unit song originally made for her.
- New stage that was promised should start in January or February 2017.

Fear:

- Any of my oshimens to graduate, please, don't you graduate before 23, because according to Mark Hoppus, nobody likes you when you're 23...
- Sales drop, please keep at 1 million sales on a day...

Prediction:

- Miichan or Yukirin graduation?

 

Hope:
More good songs to compete with keyakizaka and nogizaka to fight the casual listener market better

Fear:
Declining of the cd sales after prominent members left

Prediction:
sayanee and mayuyu announce graduation

Hopes:
- Sayaya ranks higher in ssk, realisitically hoping that she maintains undergirl rank
- Yuiri enters ssk finally and ranks (not gonna happen)
- the return of regular handshakes with none of the games/recordings/item signing etc. (not gonna happen)
- Sasshi doesn't win ssk, whether it's that she opts out or someone beat her
- still in denial and clinging onto the hope that #29 enters 16 gen later (not gonna happen)
- an idol like catchy single
- more focus on akb members, or less focus on sister group members, for single senbatsu

Fears:
- Yuiri grad
- crappy singles
- a bunch of grads leading to single centers being the grad members one by one, graduations themselves are fine
- more of those member dramas (horror/love story)
- nothing ever happens with dendenmuchu anymore because of naanya grad

Predictions:
- a lot of younger gen grad

 

Hopes:
- Sasshi doesn't apply to SSK
- Renacchi ranks
- Nakai Rika ranks
- Mio gets senbatsu position in SSK or later
- No center/s for NGT debut single
- Yabuki Nako center in HKT single
- Original stage for Team 4


Grad (or grad announcement) predictions:
Minegishi Minami, Iriyama Anna, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kizaki Yuria, Watanabe Mayu, Suda Akari, Kinoshita Momoka...

 

I forget to add one more:

- Because of mass graduation, maybe 17th gen audition will be announced mid 2017?

 

Hopes :
1. Mayuyu centering 2 single ! Ssk single and the 48th single!
2.More Akb48 member gets pushed!
3. Bikini single! For summer single
4. jaken winner to centre a single
5. A new documentory movie!
6. SKE48 single to not always be centre by Matsuii Jurina
7. Same with 6 but Nmb48 to not always be centre by Yamamoto Sayaka

Fears :
1. Sashi wins SSK AGAIN
2 . Mayu graduation

 

Hopes:
At least 1 original stage, whatever group.
More Team 8 members rank
AKB Teams are revived, they are pretty much dead right now (especially K)
The remains of generation 1 and 3 leave for good. (all of them)
Cool single in 2017,something like River, Hebirot, Iiwake

Fears:
Yuiyui is the only added T8 member to rank
young members keeps leaving
Singles quality keeps declining
SKE and NMB are still all Jurina and Sayaka

Predictions:
NGT 1st single in 2017, centered by Nagaï Rika
Sasshi stays untouchable

 

Hopes:
- The rest of 15th gen, especially Riorin, Omegu and Seichan will be had mega pushes like Mion
- At least 1 single will belong to AKB senbatsu ONLY
- (Really hope) NO sister groups adding to senbatsu of AKB single
- High quality A-sides just like Hebirote, Ponyshu, Beginner
- NGT will have the best debut single ever ( NGT will be in the same level as keya)
- New gens will make AKB great again.
- Team 8 will be pushed with more positions in senbatsu.
- Sasshi don't participate in SSK 2017
- Riorin and Seichan will ranked.
Fears:
- AKB will be beaten by their rival Nogi46.
- Too much SSK senbatsu positions belong to sister groups.
- Sakura will be full transfered to AKB
- NGT48's debut single fail.
- Too much senbatsu positions belong to sister groups.
Predictions:
Miichan, Mogi, Tano, Annin, Yukirin, Mayuyu graduation.

For those that are saying that they hope Sasshi will not participate in SSK next year is out of luck. If I remember correctly, Sasshi appeared on AKB Newspaper(?) with Miion and she said she wants to continue to break record so she will participate in 2017's SSK

 

That did actually say she thinks she will. Also do say that Mion thinks Yukirin will enter as well.

Really who knows who will enter right now. Alot can change in 3 months (the usual time when the SSK is announced).

 

I can respect those who "doesn't want Sasshi wins" or "wants another girl beats Sasshi" but I can't understand those who "hopes Sasshi not participates in SSK" (so that theirs oshimens have any chance to win) ... Mariko-sam would be ashamed of them.

 

I'll be honest, It she entered this year. It would show how that she is selfish, she's already proven how dominant she is in the SSK, there is nothing else to prove. Her entering and winning again would bring this event down (cause we all know she will).

Tbh, Really don't wanna see it where she enters and girls like Mayuyu, Yukirin, and Sayanee don't (already know Jurina will know more no matter).

Hope: Someone new wins sousenkyo in 2017.
Fear: Sasshi wins again.
Prediction: I don't know anymore.

 

Hopes:

• Solo center for Mayuyu (it's been so long) OR double center Mayuyu + Yukirin
• Solo center for any of these members: Sakura, Renacchi, Kojimako. I'll be happy for any of the 3.
• New solo single for Yukirin please and a new solo single for Mayuyu + solo concert for Mayuyu.
• Mirurun finally included as regular member in AKB senbatsu (like she deserves)
• Solo center for Mirurun (or Yuuri would be nice too) in NMB. More solo works for Sayanee too.
• More acting jobs (non-AKB related) for Sakura, and Renacchi too.
• Push for Rinrin (team 8's Okabe Rin) and team 8's Naruchan stays as the top ranked team 8 girl.
• Nanamichan (Yamada) from team 8 ranks, and if possible Rinrin too ;w;
• Better a-sides, different than 2015-2016. and better choreographies and outfits too, please.
• Better theater stages, new Special or Waiting Stages are ok, right now I don't enjoy the stages...
• Exciting elections or concerts... because I lost interest to watch them, but maybe it's just me.

Fears:

• Nothing but I'm afraid to lose interest in AKB / 48G even more than I did in the past 2 years ._.

Predictions:

• More graduations, possible shuffle because every team will have too little members.
• Members who I think will graduate in 2017: Minegishi Minami, Kashiwagi Yuki (*sad*), Tanabe Miku, Takeuchi Miyu, Tano Yuka, Okada Ayaka, and maybe Okada Nana and Okawa Rio if their health or injuries get worse... :/ I just hope none of my team 8 favorites will graduate ._.
