Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2018

As 2017 coming to a close. Let's do the traditional Stage48 Hopes, Fears, and Predictions for 2018 =D

If you posted on last years topic, it would be fun if you mention if you any prediction right =]

Hopes
1. Yukirin and Sayanne participating on SSK 2018
2. Kato Rena ranking at senbatsu (same hope as last year)
3. Yui Yui ranking at senbatsu
4. Yukirin as center for her last single (hopefully as no 1 on SSK)

Fears
1. Miichan stays for one more year... that's my only fear....

Predictions
1. Jurina number 1 at SSK (same as previous year)
2. Yui Yui doesn't increase much her amount of votes.
3. Mion doesn't make to senbatsu again.

1. Summer A-side with the girls dancing on the beach. And a dance ver. for it. -- #sukinanda was kind of summer song.

2. Mayu / Yuki graduation and a massive send off concert.

 

Well, starting with revision of last year's post:

And for 2018:
Hopes
-At least one single picks me up again.
-D3 gets better treatment than D2
-A big push comes out of the 16D3
-The fandom WILL NOT FORGET the member who is send to Mexico

Fears
-Literally nothing, i expected the worse en every aspect by now.

Predictions
-A new gimmicky event is announced! (Not talking about the new draft system)
-Massive "riot" at this year SSK (make a bet)
-A failed push will be sent to Mexican oblivion but we'll take care of her
-The graduation train will "DUDE, HOLD MY BEER, I'M SERIOUS NOW"

 

Hopes
- Jurina wins SSK, Yuihan and Okada Nana rank in kami 7
- 16th gen members rank in SSK (especially: Yamauchi Mizuki, Yamane Suzuha, Inagaki Kaori, Michieda Saki)
- All 16th gen members promoted to teams
- Mogi Shinobu gets into single senbatsu
- New original stages

Fears
- Yukirin graduates
- Hana is first row or even center in AKB48 single
- Sakura is center in AKB48 single
- More AKB48 members get transferred to kaigai groups

Predictions
- Mion and Oguri Yui promoted heavily, become new double center
- Minegishi Minami graduates + some other older gen, underrated members (Oya Shizuka, Miyazaki Miho, Takeuchi Miyu, Kojima Natsuki...)
- Some STU48 girls rank in SSK
- New sister group announced

 

Hmm... Looks like my get out. Well... I not know are I made 2017 at that... Or just think about that...

Anyway...

 

Hopes
- Naachan wins SSK gets into Kami 7 along with Yuihan
- 16th gen members (other than Orin) and STU members rank for the first time
- European sound like Negaigoto no Mochigusare but with an upbeat tempo for a single (pretty please)
- Popular midgen who has never been in senbatsu (Sahoo, Mogi, Miyupon, Yuiri) gets into senbatsu
- New original stages (not holding my breath for this one lol)
- Miss Youtuber convinces at least 40k of her watchers and rises in rank (and not turning into Gon/Umeda Ayaka 2.0) hopefully jumps over Mirurun too
- Yukirin runs for the last time, gathering support from her oshi and 3rd gen's, wins SSK, and announces graduation gracefully.
- One single with complex coreography
- Sally in Kami 7
- Macharin in Senbatsu

Fears:
- Sakura's reign of AKB center not letting up even after Kennin cancellation
- Midgen gets another dust
- SG invasion still going on with the expense of 16th gen
- Management forgets that there are some 16th gen who are still KKS and they rot for another year being an under
- Flop "Let's dance together" single
- New gen struggling in SSK (no senbatsu from 15th gen, no ranked from 16th gen)
- Midgen mass graduation
- Annin badly timing graduation (before SSK) and ends up not having grad song like Yuria

Prediction
- Sakura still centers at least one single
- Either Naachan, Yuiyui, or Yuihan will get their Center/WCenter
- Inevitable, Long overdue Yukirin solo center
- Sakura wins SSK (if Yukirin does not run)
- Matsuoka Hana still going strong in AKB senbatsu
- Fan favourite unranked members: Jiina, Mikoti, Odaeri rise in SSK
- Mizuki or Manaka in senbatsu
- 9th gen ultimately being the oldest gen.

 

Hopes

1. 4K HDR. Already. Please.
2. 2018 SSK to take place in either Nagoya Dome or Toyota Stadium
3. Yuiyui and Satone double center
4. More idol collaborations!
5. Some old gens sent to Team Kaigai.
6. Triple A-side with 60 senbatsu members, each A side has different set of Media Senbatsu (20 members each)
7. Expanded SSK (20 ranked members per unit)
8. A CM deal with Sony and finally remove Kitagawa Keiko from the Bravia ads!
9. Large senbatsus should mean double/triple A-sides, with each having a different set of Media Senbatsu

Fears

1. A massive incident that can further damage the management reputation
2. SNS Scandals at the same level as Yumemiru Adolescence's Yamada Akari
3. Management pulls a GEM and cancels everything out of the window
4. Anyone from the 2000 line announces graduation (they're next considering they will be in their final year of high school!)

Predictions

1. Gens 1-7 finally die out
2. Kashiwagi Yuki graduates with a solo center

 

Hopes

1. Yukirin has her first solo center
2. New original stages
3. Tomu joins SSK next year and in Kami7
4. Hana is not AKB48 senbatsu anymore
5. Mikoti rises up in SSK next year
6. Management won't forget to promote the kenkyuuseis (Again)
7. More AKB48 members (Omegu, Yuiri,..) in senbatsu

Fears

1. Tomu doesn't join SSK next year and maybe announce graduation
2. Tanochan goes to Mexico...
3. Hana still in AKB48 senbatsu
4. Mass graduation (Again)
5. Jurina or Sakura not win SSK, another girl surprised win (Like Sasshi in 2013)
6. More sister group members in senbatsu than AKB48 members

Predictions

1. Jurina or Sakura will win SSK next year
2. Miichan ranks in senbatsu and announces her graduation
3. Naachan, Juri, Tomu and Yuihan in Kami7
4. Zukkii in senbatsu

Sasshi and Sayanee don't enter SSK (Both telling their fans to vote for NMB48 (Sayanee) and HKT48 (Sasshi) members.) (Sayanee didn't enter)
Mayuyu or Jurina win SSK (Jurina if Mayuyu doesn't enter SSK). (Didn't Happen)
Mayuyu 1st Album and Yukirin 1st Album get release (on the same day) (Half Right on this)
Team 8 Shuffle (dropping them to 22 members) w/the Team 8 Kennins becoming full time members of that team (Yamada - A, Ikumin - K, Sakaguchi - B) (Well it sort of happened)

• A New Non-Single Sub Unit (Going to be here until it finally Happens)

• Concerts that don't involve somebody graduating
• Team 8 Officialy Ends
• Tofu Pro Wrestling Season 2
• Tanochan makes it into the Produce48
• Nozawa Makes it into the Mexican Drama: L.I.K.E.
• Team Songs returning
• More Girls get transfered to Agencies

Fears

• Team 8 Continues
• AKB48 Only Single
• Newer Gens Still Graduating
• No Team Songs

Predictions

• Jurina wins SSK (2nd Place: Sakura and 3rd Place: Yuihan)
• Yukirin, Tomu, Miichan, Shiichan, Sayanee, Myao, MiyuMiyu all graduate
• HKT48 has a good showing at SSK after Sasshi tells her oshis to vote for other HKT48 Members
• Yukirin 1st Album
• Tofu Pro Wrestling Season 2
• Team Songs return for the 52nd and 54th Single
• Something gets announced that will involve the USA (Just got a feeling)

• Matsuoka Hana
• Hana-YuiYui W-center or Yuiyui solo center for a single
• More wrestling-themed songs/MVs
• Male backing vocals get more lines than the girls themselves
• TPE48 and AKB48 China = more Chinese cover groups (that would be stupid)
• W-Miyuu and other (underappreciated) new gens graduate

• Yuiyui centers a single
• Miichan, Yukirin, Sayanee, Sasshi, Churi or Yuihan announces graduation
• Sasshi, Sayane and Yukirin sit out SSK
• Jurina announces graduation if she doesn't rank #1 but Sakura does

Is it just me, watch everyone say/want Yuiyui rank in Senbatsu but fails to meet the expectations tremendously LOL

Is Team 8-hate a new trend? Nice.

Hopes:
- Team 8 kennins are revoked this summer after the D3 are promoted, a shuffle, all the Kenkyuusei are promoted.
- AKB48 Only single.
- Tomu, Miichan, Annin, Yukirin, Oya, Myao graduate.
- New original teams.
- Naachan centers a single.
- More Team 8 songs.
- Team 8 single.
- Sakura wins the Sousenkyo.
- A nice, original drama. Like Sailor Zombie or MajiGaku 3.
- Zukki outranks Orin, 1st senbatsu.
- 7suki change their name and get a single.
- Nako gets her kennin in AKB48 back, AKB48 Senbatsu debut.
- D3 faves make it.
- A cool/waltz song with a 16-18 members Senabatsu (NegaMochi/UZA).
- Story MVs which are focused on the members.
- Waiting stages instead of the regular revivals.
- Team 8 is still promoted around the country the way they did until now.

Predictions:
- They sneak in one Team song in the Pre-SSK single.
- Management doesn't realize they did a horrible mistake with the shuffle and try to make the Team 8 kennin thing work (unsuccessfully).
- Yahagi Moeka is picked to AKB48 and centers a song (Senbatsu/Undergirls).
- Mion barely ranks in the Senabtsu.
- (Assuming Sasshi and Yuki keep their promise to not participate) Jurina wins.
- Hana-hate continues.
- Bikini single or KFC 3.0.

Fears:
- Same old, huge senbatsu.
- Hana-hate continues.
- One of the promising new-gen members graduates (NakoMiku, Yuiyui, Hana, Zukki, Asai, Manaka, Yunana, Rara, Ayaka)
- No new generation members manage to rank-up.
- Management keeps pushing older members, focuses on old generations.
- Another horrifying shuffle.
