Because of health issues, Miona won't participate in the upcoming Sendai live shows. She wrote in her blog she has tonsil inflammation, and she needs to rest as much as possible. The doctors advised her to do so, otherwise she might end up needing surgery.

Get well soon, Miona! Don't rush it and focus on your recovery.

Miona to be a cast in movie "Hot Gimmick". It will be released in 2019. The story is about a girl who fall in love with three boys.
The director of this movie has been worked with Nogizaka46 in MV Harujion. Also, one of the actor is from Naachan's drama, Video Girl Ai.

Hmm.... It should be the other way around, since it's Miona!

This is actually based off of the shoujo manga, "Hot Gimmick". It's the type of series I tend to dislike because the main guy is the biggest jerk you can imagine (that's putting it lightly), but because he has some sort of soft spot/caring somewhere in there, he becomes a romantic interest for the main girl. I really can never understand Japanese shoujo's authors consistently writing with this type of troupe. I'll look forward to Miona's performance, though.

 

Today Toei announced Aihara Miki's manga "Hot Gimmick" will gets Live-Action movie in 2019. Nogizaka46 member Hori Miona will play the leading actress: Narita Hatsumi. The movie will also star Hiroya Shimizu (as Tachibana Ryoki), Itagaki Mizuki (as Odagiri Azusa) and Mamiya Shotaro (as Narita Shinogu). The movie will be released in 2019.

 

i think Hori can act. I saw her in an episode of Sukkato Japan and she did great. I hope she shines in this one.
