OL Miona is so godly I just wished I was her co-worker. Would I be more motivated and productive working with her or be too distracted to even get my job done? . Tricky situation indeed.

P/S: it kinda surprises me that this thread has been so quiet lately coz Miona has been so freaking gorgeous in whatever programs that she appears in (though her new Mouse CM was a bit underwhelming but it’s always tough with Mouse cos the competition is too high). I think we are at the third evolution of Miona after the classic Baby Miona and Miona-bob. Miona is becoming more and more mature and sophisticated and as I mentioned before she is reminding me a lot of Matsui Rena. I feel that her look still hasn’t fully stabilized yet so I am really looking forward to what she can become.

 

Screw Disney+. Netflix just won it big time for me. Really can’t wait.

Miona's the guest for the current set of episodes for Yoshimotozaka46 Ureru Made no Zen Kiroku. She didn't introduce which group she was with, so the hosts asked (even though I'm sure they knew) and she went to look at her hoodie because she thought it was a Nogizaka one as it was purple. It was a Yoshimotozaka hoodie so the hosts joked that she joined the group.

 

Staying up late to watch Hot Gimmick when it’s first available. There are many WTF moments but Miona was actually very good. Maybe I am being biased or maybe I haven’t watched many other movies or TV shows from other girls but I feel this is best performance from a Sakamichi girl so far. If only the plot is decent, Miona might have had a big breakthrough.

 

I've just watched Hot Gimmick yesterday too. Not mention about a story, because I haven't read the manga yet but I saw somone shared that a story of the film was a mess in comparison to manga :v It might be a general problem of mostly live-action.

For Miona's performance, it's better than expected, really. She performed quite good, not so professional but good enough for 1st time challenge herself in acting. At least, she can cry, and fully showed the inward feelings. I appreciate for her hard-working

 

I just watched Hot Gimmick.

What a trainwreck. I didn't understand the story at all. None of the characters were relatable in any way (actually, I wanted to punch most of them). There were too many random shots that didn't add anything (what's up with all the construction work) and playing the same music during most of the scenes didn't really do it for me either.

Miona made all of it bearable. Like said above, it's not on a pro level but very decent. She definitely outshone her co-actors. There are some very beautiful shots of her in the movie so i'd still recommend to watch it if you like to look at Miona.

 

I felt the film was also messed up but props to Hori for her acting.

I think they just took the sub from Netflix. Pirate streaming sites like Kissasian are notorious for taking sub from other places.
