    Miori Ichikawa　, a former member of the idol groups "AKB48" and "NMB48" , has been appointed as a new spring model for the fashion brand " Samantha Vega ", and the visual has been released recently. She is wearing a white outfit with a strawberry in her hand and showing her smile, and a pink outfit with a miniskirt and showing off her slender legs.

    Miori Ichikawa, who is 148 cm tall and is trying to become a model, "I want to prove that there is nothing I can't do because I am short."

    Miori Ichikawa has been a member of the retro pop music unit "FANCYLABO" with Aoi Yagawa and NightTempo since February 2023. We asked her about her secrets and enthusiasm for being active in various genres such as fashion, acting, and music.

    ──It's been about 5 years since you graduated from AKB48/NMB48, and you've been active mainly in fashion and acting. What were your thoughts?
    Ichikawa: Model work has been my dream since I was a child. But I'm 148 cm tall, so I often felt frustrated that I couldn't make it on the normal route. However, recently, there is a need to enjoy fashion even with short stature, such as COHINA, a brand for petite women.

    I was able to work with such a brand, and I was able to perform at TGC for COHINA. I can also be a model, and I also have a goal of wanting to try fashion design myself.

    ──So, without making your physique a handicap, you have become able to sublimate it into your activities as an advantage unique to Ichikawa-san.
    Ichikawa: I'm determined to prove that there's nothing I can't do just because I'm short. It would be ideal if there were no women who gave up enjoying fashion because of their physique. Fortunately, with my small face, my style maintains a miraculous balance (laughs), and I can create fashion that does not make my height stand out.
