Idol College

Idol College is a 25-member idol group under the agency Blue Rose. It was formed in 2009 as B.L.T. Idol College as an idol project for B.L.T. Magazine. In 2010, the name was changed to Idol College with a brand new lineup. As of 2017, Minami Chisato is the only remaining B.L.T. Idol College member.

They originally debuted under Dreamusic on August 8, 2012. However, they were transferred to Stand Up! Records on May 6, 2014.

UP's from Idol College was formed on October 12, 2015, however, it was dissolved on May 7, 2016, all of its members were mixed with the main group.

They are considered one of the highest level performing idols.

Their fanbase is called Classmate (クラスメイト).

Kawaoto Nozomi and Konno Honoka were added on August 1, 2014.
Izuhara Momo, Ogasawara Ayano and Tozawa Mai were added on December 2014.
Okazaki Ichigo was added on May 2015.
Kagesawa Rina, Kondo Kanna, Sato Haruna, Kawaji Yuna and Tadokoro Shiori were added on October 2015, unfortunately, Kondo's contract was cancelled on May 25, 2016.
Kaminaguchi Himeka was added on January, 2016.

Minami Chisato (南千紗登) - Third Generation (joined 2009) Born on November 26, 1991 (27 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. Oldest member of IC. Currently the member with the longest tenure as she joined back during the B.L.T. Idol College era and is currently the only one who was part of B.L.T. Idol College who is still part of the current Idol College.
Nakajima Yui (中島優衣) - Eighth Generation (joined 2011) Born on May 20, 1996 (22 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. At 168cm, she is the tallest member of the group. She is also a concurrent member of Purely Monster.
Tomita Julia (冨田樹梨亜) - Ninth Generation (joined 2011) Born on June 17, 1994 (24 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. Was the center of the song "Gamushara Fighter" from the album "idolcollege".
Ebihara Yuka (海老原優花) - Ninth Generation (joined 2011) Born on January 1, 1996 (22 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. One of IC's best dancers. Is the current leader of the group.
Kawato Anju (河東杏樹) - Eleventh/Twelfth Generation (joined 2012) Born on May 20, 1994 (24 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. Former member of N-Zero and her name was spelled 河東あんじゅ.

D Team (Idol College's Next Generation Aces)

Sato Haruna (佐藤春奈) - Sixteenth Generation (joined 2015) Born on April 17, 1995 (23 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. Has an appearance similar to Hori Miona or Miyawaki Sakura.
Ishizuka Shioka (石塚汐花) - Twelfth Generation (joined 2012) Born on July 3, 1997 (21 years old), from Tokyo Prefecture. She attempted to announce graduation of February 2016 but took it back on April 2016. Known as one of the best dancers of the group. Is the current ace of the group.
Konno Honoka (今野穂乃花) - Fourteenth Generation (joined 2014) Born on April 20, 1998 (20 years old), from Saitama Prefecture.

C Team

Okazaki Ichigo (岡崎いちご) - Sixteenth Generation (Joined 2015) Born on February 28, 2002 (16 years old), from Chiba Prefecture. She is a former member of Smile Gakuen and her name was spelled 岡崎苺. First fukujin member from Team C.
Tadokoro Shiori (田所栞) - Sixteenth Generation (Joined 2015) Born on December 1, 1996 (22 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. She is a former member of Kaiketsu! Tropical Maru under the name Tatsumi Shiori (辰見栞).
Kawaji Yuna (河地柚奈) - Sixteenth Generation (Joined 2015) Born on January 25, 1995 (23 years old), from Hyogo Prefecture. Replaced Ogasawara Ayano as Team C's leader.
Hirata Ayaka (平田亜耶加) - Eighteenth Generation (Joined 2017) Born on September 26, 2002 (16 years old), from Shizuoka Prefecture.

Inaba Misaki (稲葉美咲) - Born on November 16, 1998 (19 years old), from Chiba Prefecture. Withdrew on December 23, 2015. Was also a member of ALLOVER.
Saito Kisaki (齋藤綺咲) - Born on August 16, 1994 (23 years old), from Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated on February 29, 2016. Last original member of BLT Idol College to graduate.
Kondo Kanna (近藤栞菜) - Born on March 19, 2002 (16 years old), from Tokyo Prefecture. Dismissed on May 23, 2016 due to pictures showing her in blonde hair and underage smoking (both of which are no-no's in the idol world; the latter is against the law and the former is because members like Itano Tomomi and Iyama Maho have antis).
Kanda Hina (神田緋那) - Thirteenth Generation (Joined 2013) Born on March 3, 2000 (18 years old), from Tokyo Prefecture. Graduated on February 9, 2017.
Ogasawara Ayano (小笠原彩乃) - Fifteenth Generation (Joined 2014) Born on October 14, 1996 (21 years old), from Shizuoka Prefecture. Graduated on March 18, 2017.

A picture of her along with Nagasawa Marina went viral on 9gag, Facebook and Twitter and adds the subtitle of "One is 20 (Marina) and the other is 13 (Himeka)". She is Idol College's next generation ace. Has a twin brother. Got her contract terminated on September 13, 2017. Is currently a 2nd generation standing member of Last Idol, at #9 position.
Tozawa Mai (戸沢舞) - Fifteenth Generation (joined 2014) Born on April 5, 2000 (18 years old), from Gunma Prefecture. Graduated on June 28, 2018.
Kawabata Mizuki (河端美津希) - Twentieth Generation (Joined 2018) Born on August 10, 1996 (22 years old), from Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated on August 18, 2018.

I saw them live once at the Belle Salle Fes and was amazed, how huge Chisato-chans appearance is on stage.
They dont appeal to me at all from their PVs, but seeing them live was somehow a whole lot different.

Probably would have gotten more into them, until I found out that Chisato released a gravure dvd. Thats usually a reason for my interest to fade.
