First time looking right at her profile picture and Yagami Kumi came to mind lol
I mean they are making a "Naako vs. Mao thing" but in reality it will continually be Mao winning, so it will never end. If they made it 2:0 in the near future it would die and they wouldn't be able to use the Naako vs. Mao thing anymore.
So Iguchi's wins may be staged, although the food competition might be real. My main suspicion is the karaoke machine's score.
3:0 now, if you count the karaoke.
Happy Birthday Mao

There's a matome piece showing Mao-chan with what the main poster thinks of as an all-star group from Hiragana -- along with several pics of her with Shida Manaka. "Are they friends?" the poster asks.
Mao-chan continues to have no lane sell-outs in handshake, but also continues to be front and centre on GanaOshi. Snack Mao is a great idea, if she and the other members can continue to make something of it.
Mao-chan blog post with many pics of Kakizaki Memi, "burikko". Mao-chan posted about her first guest on Snack Mao, Tomita Suzuka. Now she posts about her second, Memi. Mao-chan says a lot of her friends act burikko (cutesy), and she herself used to be called burikko.
Snack Mao is one of the best bits that the sakamichi series has done. It's a very well done skit with a very cool conceit. I'm sort of jealous that Matsumura Sayuri didn't think this up and had it on NogiDoko or NogiChu; it would be something Ringo would do, but it's being done on HiraOshi. Good job all around. Would be a cool show if they invited other sakamichi members along.
Happy Birthday Mama Mao!
Mao will appear on the Sanma's Palace talk show, which Neru has been on a couple of times. It's a top-class entertainment talk show. More here.
Mao-chan was absolutely fantastic on the Sanma show. Right back to her craziness from audition time. Sanma called her "noisy." But in a good way, lol. Here's the YouTube of the entire one-hour show:
And here's Mao-chan's self-introduction (lol). She also explains the difference between Kanji and Hiragana ("totally a separate group"). It's chaos. The other female guests end up telling Sanma to stop hassling her and let her speak, lol. A total mess-up, in one way, but a triumph of getting people to remember her and Hiragana.
